The Student Activities Center (001) provides a gathering space for RSOs during the academic school year as well as a wide variety of affordable (and free) resources and services.

Located in the heart of campus, our student government and social programming boards (Major Activities Board, Council on University Board, and DOC Films) provide a mix of student engagement surrounding popular campus topics, large-scale concerts, on-campus traditional events to attend, and a daily movie schedule.

Student Government & Programming Boards

Student Activities Center

The Center for Leadership and Involvement staff and peer advisors advises over 450 student organizations. We also run a social programming schedule throughout year with programs such as Stress Relief Day, Uncommon Nights and Snack & Chat to foster student life. From entertaining events and workshops on campus, to discounted trips around the Chicago, our office has you covered.

INVOLVEMENT

The Center for Leadership and Involvement (CLI) is located in the Reynolds Club, a vibrant hub for student life on campus. CLI provides a variety of meeting spaces, supports the engagement fund initiative, and leadership and social programming. It is the ideal place to hang out, get involved with RSOs, and manage your organization’s website.

LEADERSHIPThe programs and trainings offered through UChicago Leads develop students’ leadership capacities in humility, innovation, resilience, adaptability, and interpersonal skills. UChicago Leads is our umbrella program, which includes leadership development retreats, leadership institutes, student organization trainings, and advising for RSO leaders. We recognize that student leadership is crucial to creating a welcoming

and developmental environment for all students, and that the experiences students have on campus directly impact their ability to lead confidently beyond their time at the University. Our programs focus on self-awareness and reflection, allowing students to embrace and lead with the skills and traits they already possess. Some of our signature programs include:

• StrengthsQuest™ at UChicago • Student Leadership Institute • Women’s Leadership Book Club • Student Leader Awards • UChicago Leads Pre-Orientation
