The Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR) has made a lasting
mark on brownfield-impacted communities around the country by
championing the re-
purposing of abandoned or vacant commercial and industrial
properties into assets that benefit the community, create jobs, and
generate new tax revenue.
Last year, we reached nearly 4,000 people through our workshops
and technical assistance, and our grant review resulted in $9M
awarded to communities.
In the aftermath of a global pandemic, communities will be more
in need of the economic boost and community revitalization which
land reuse provides.Those who know CCLR say we punch above our
weight, and we are primed to expand our programming and outreach to
meet the need. We are already
broadening our services and connecting the dots between land
reuse and environmental justice, climate mitigation, and equity to
better serve all ourstakeholders. Your support will ensure our
ability to provide assistance to communities regardless of their
resources.
