9.30 A.M. sharp for the following posts on the ad hoc research project entitled Nutritive Value of Indian Foods Integrated Indian Food Composition Tables at this Institute. : 1 st Class M.Sc/ /2 nd Class M.Sc with Ph.D in Biochemistry /Life Science withthree years relevant laboratory experience.

Desirable : Conversant with the handling of either of the instruments FastHPLC/HPLC/ICPMS/LCMS/AAS/GCMS/LCMbMS/ICPOES. Minimum threeyears experience in analysis of nutrients and bioactive substance in foods as

evidenced by publications.Age : Below 40 years. Age Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per

G.O.I Rules.

ConsolidatedSalary

: Rs.43,344/- p.m. +Rs.6,660/- HRA p.m. (fixed) without any other allowances.

Experience in handling of Fast HPLC / HPLC / ICPMS / LCMS / AAS /Kjeldahi nitrogen analyzer, microwave ashing system, microwave digestionsystem, muffle furnace, sat boiling distillation system will be an addedadvantage. Minimum one to three years working experience.

Age : Below 30 Years. Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates G.O.I Rules

: Rs.28,707/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.

ConsolidatedSalary

: Rs.12,608/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.

The tenure for all the above posts is 8 months . Initially the appointment will begiven for a period of three months and extendable based on the performance and subject tothe extension of the Project by the funding agency. The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a

passport-size photograph and one set of Photo copies of all certificates duly attested while attendingthe Walk-in-Interview. The persons belongs to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C.(Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Thehsildar/ M.R.O. specificallyissued for the purpose of applying for Central Government post not later than three , No TA/DAwill be paid for attending the Interviews/ written test.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the projectstaff on contract basis. Age Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be allowed as

per the G.O.I Rules. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at thisInstitute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any applicationwithout assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
