Goals:• Enhance the student’s understanding of team
dynamics. • Apply the principles of team coordination in the
formulation of a mission statement, strategic plan and business objectives
• Demonstrate the ability to translate linear concepts into a visual flow chart of activities.
Objectives 1-3 will be described in the team paper.
(1) Define the qualities of effective teams. (2) Identify the factors that enhance team
performance and those that diminish team performance
(3) Present a summary of effective team traits related to health care teams, such as medical rounds.

The Wellness Institute exists to promote sound health practices and improve the quality of life for it’s members by summarizing research on nutrition and physical activity, targeting documented positive health behaviors and providing education and training to embrace such behaviors.
