• Conducted under GEF’s Pacific Alliance for Sustainability and covers five Pacific Developing Member Countries (PDMCs) - Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu

Benefits & Advantages

•Lakepa Water Committee collected 60% more revenue

since they start using solar and 80% less expenses

(Mainly administration cost for the committee activities)

•The town officer happily reported since June 2007 they

still using their second drum of diesel, they do not know

much about solar but definitely using solar make a very

much different
