Fuel Combustion Catalyst - Market Drivers
• Reductions in oil stocks limiting future supply of
fossil fuels
• High fuel prices likely to continue for some time,
maybe forever
• Environmental pressures

Envirox™ Technology
• Cerium oxide = well known oxidation catalyst
• 10 nanometre particles of cerium oxide
• High surface area
• Surface layer of ‘active oxygen’ due to lattice strain
• Dispersed in hydrocarbon solvent
• Dose level = 5 to 10 mg/litre (5-10 ppm)
• City Bus Hong Kong 2002/3 field trial, 80 vehicles9 - 11 % fuel consumption improvement
• Stagecoach UK 2003/4 field trial, over 1000 vehicles5 – 7 % fuel consumption improvement
• Stagecoach UK 2007 field trial, over 500 vehicles4.3 % fuel consumption improvement
• Niederzier Germany 2007, municipal fleet6% fuel consumption improvement
• Loevenich Reisen (Germany) 2007, coach tour fleet6% fuel consumption improvement
• Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (Russia) 2008,7% fuel consumption improvement

Periods
% Improvement
3 month rolling average
• The catalytic effect of EnviroxTM reduces
existing carbon deposits and prevents build up of
additional carbon deposits within the engine,
particularly on the cylinder head piston crown
Without Envirox™ With Envirox™
Cleans Engines
• Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Directly linked to fuel consumption, every tonne of fuel saved
reduces CO2 by approximately 3 tonnes
Minimal energy used to produce Envirox™
• Particulates (PM)
Up to 18% reductions observed
• Hydrocarbons (HC)
Up to 13% reductions observed
• Carbon monoxide (CO)
Up to 6% reductions observed

UK Fleet Scenario
• 5% fuel saved
• Fuel price = 108 pence/litre (excl VAT)
• Additive cost = 15% of saving
• Fleet consumes 1 million litres/year
Net Cost Saving = £45,900

UK Fleet Scenario
• 5% fuel saved
• Negligible energy consumed in Envirox™
manufacture and supply
• Fleet consumes 1 million litres/year
Net CO2 Reduction = 132 tonnes

Customer Scenario - Benefits
• Net Cost Saving = £3.8 million/year
• Net CO2 Reduction = 24,500 tonnes/year

'Our vehicles have driven more than 700 million miles on Envirox™, and
to achieve a consistent result across a diverse fleet over 3 years
testifies to the robustness of the technology. We are particularly
pleased with the performance of the product both in ultra low sulphur
diesel and in blends containing biodiesel, which are now in widespread
use across our fleet'.
Adrian Havlin, Stagecoach Group Technical Engineer
Addition to fuel - bulk
• EnviroxTM is provided to a bus or truck depot as
a 2% concentrate of cerium oxide in
hydrocarbon in 205 litre drum
• Oxonica installed dosing unit monitors fuel
delivered by tanker and doses appropriate
amount of EnviroxTM into fuel
• Level of cerium oxide in diesel is then 5 mg/litre
or 5ppm
• Vehicles can then be fuelled using this additised
diesel as if it were pure diesel

Addition to fuel – direct
• EnviroxTM may be added to fuel tanks on vehicles
in two different ways
• An on board dosing unit can be supplied and
fitted to a vehicle to deliver EnviroxTM to fuel
directly before delivery into the engine
• Alternatively, an EnviroxTM Driver Pack can be
purchased and a measured amount added to the
vehicle tank when diesel is added at the pump
• EnviroxTM Driver Packs can be purchased online
at www.enviroxdriverpack.com where a worked
example shows projected savings from use of
EnviroxTM
• Liquid additive for diesel fuel
• Fuel combustion catalyst
• Based on nanoparticulate cerium oxide
• Improves fuel economy by 4-10%
• Reduces harmful emissions up to 18%
• Easy to use – dosing units
