Nuñez Newsletter January– March 2016 Dear Friends, Thank you for your continued prayer and financial support for the Lords work here. Lately our ser- vices have been burstingwith people. This past Sunday a man who has been visiting with his wife was saved, and Marco has started discipleship with him. With the new year, we started Monday evening visitation and mens meetings on Saturday evenings. It is great to see families come bustling in, excited to be here and growing in obedience and love. One of the new families that has been coming to church was able to get the permission needed for a sign for the church. So we had the church name paint- ed on the building and have had some visitors come as a result of seeing the sign. In December we hosted the mission pastors and their families for a Christmas meal and en- joyed their fellowship. The pastors continue to come once a month for Bible study and fellowship. Please pray that each one will remain faithful to the LORD. The mother-in-law of one of the new ladies in the church was saved after having visited our services for three months. She has now gone back to her home in Mexico City and was assisting in a church there the last we heard. Her name is Magdalena. She is pictured to the right with her daughter and granddaughter. Marco had the opportunity to share the gospel at a birthday gathering for the first man who came to the church almost 19 years ago. He has not come since, but he was turning 69 and contacted us. We went and Marco shared the gospel very clearly, but no one was saved. How we wish we could just make themun- derstand. Please pray for him if you think of it. His name is Mario, and as far as we know, he is still unsaved. He is the man standing to Marcos left—you can see the side of his face. Days like that make us more thankful that one day Gods good Spirit opened our hearts to the gospel. We have also had painful times with both Raul and Nacho, who are no longer in the ministry with Marco. We continue to pray for them, and we ask the LORD to be mer- ciful to them and restore them to fellowship with us - and mostly with Himself. Please pray for them. We never imagined that these things would happen, but the Lord knew. It has been a blessing to have Brother Tono and his wife Karina and children here with us working with the teens. He has started studies with all of them and also visits the schools each of them at- tend. They are also in charge of one of the Saturday childrens Bible clubs. Every Thursday Marco, Tono, and Christian go to a drug rehabilitation center and share the gospel. They take turns preaching, and lately more have been coming out to the meetings. Some just play around, but others do want to listen. We are thankful the LORD will use His word to do His will. Please pray we will be faithful. Thank you, Marco and Gwendolyn Nunez
