No, our Company has not “gone to the dogs”. We are however celebrating the Dog Days of Summer. One often thinks of Dog Days as being the slow period of the year where people are vacationing, relaxing, and slowing down a bit. Quite the contrary for us! This is our busiest season and we are moving fast on multiple fronts! Prime Panels continues to support Marlite in product development of a key new product. Nudo is supporting High Standard in producing  the largest backlog in their company history. Marlite is continuing

to expand their marketing story through literature, web site and video. 

The Marlite management team did an outstanding job of telling their story to the Nudo Products Inc. Board of Directors in their recent visit. Marlite is on the journey taken by Nudo a couple of years ago in refreshing the looks of their facility, as well as their marketing materials. 

Our teams at each of our Company locations continue to work well together in very harmonious fashion. The focus now remains on achieving our lofty goals for 2015. The next few months will be key to us having one of our most successful years in Company history! So, while we celebrate the Dog Days of Summer, I hope that while we

Prestige Mini Cooper is a newly constructed auto dealership in Wappinger Falls, New York.  This is also a High Standard project, but since we purchased our Biesse router all of the exterior cladding panel projects have been routed in Springfield.  The project was done in two phases and a total of 543 individual panels were routed on the Biesse, making this the largest project we have done to date.

To achieve the full realization of our combined companies, we recently reorganized our Sales and Marketing team to provide more focus to our expanded product offering, reduce duplication, and to better utilize the many talented individuals that we have on our team. Nudo Safety LockerWhile feeling the heat through the dog days of summer, the safety locker focus this month is on the heat that comes from fire. A building or equipment fire poses one of the most significant

safety risks to our team members and our company. And it’s not only the heat which brings obvious hazards, but burning chemicals and synthetic materials have an added risk of toxic smoke. Similarly, there exists a risk when saw dust combined with fire or even a spark can create an explosion under the right circumstances. Based on these examples, the fire alarm system and evacuation plan are both critical to our safety. With these risks in mind, please remember the seriousness of fire safety. Upon hearing or seeing the fire alarm, evacuate the building immediately through the nearest exit. After exiting the building, walk to the evacuation meeting spot located in the parking lot at the corner of Taylor Avenue and South Grand Avenue. Once at the meeting spot, wait for further instructions or an all clear to return back to the building. If you have questions regarding fire safety or evacuations procedure, please contact your supervisor or a member of the management. Learning these safety steps prior to a fire related emergency is a key component to keeping everyone safe.

the Score?

Kudos to the Prime Panels team for hitting four out of five metrics for the month and to the Nudo team for making three out of five. All metrics are self-funding, and by definition are not always easy to meet. When you achieve them, there is reason to take pride.

Harbor Side Plaza is a building renovation taking place in Jersey City, New Jersey.  High Standard, our sister company in Jaffrey, NH, received the P.O. for this project in February.  Construction started earlier this summer and last month High Standard asked Nudo to lend a hand.  The panels that are on the lower part of the building we shipped from Jaffrey.  The remaining floors, all the way to floor 69 will  be shipped from Springfield.

Now that’s a building!

Congratulations to Blake Ward and the nine team members who are above target for the year on incoming orders. The next three months will be critical in achieving our goals. There are at least four other territories who are poised to make a “run” on these next few laps. As always, the pit crew and in-field team stand ready to assist!
