Weddings & Engagements Causey, Hensley wed August 25 in Oxford PAULINE ELIZABETH Causey and William Hunt Hensley were wed August 25 in the Paris-Yates Chapel at the University of Mississippi, Oxford. The Rev. Isaac Estelle Jenkins III of Oxford officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kendall Causey Jr. of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kendall Causey of Cleveland and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Paris of Oxford, formerly of Indianola. Hensley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Johnston Hensley of Memphis. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Duane Hensley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilson Hunt Jr., all of Memphis. Taylor Elizabeth Patterson and Cassidy Marie Turnage were program attendants. Music was presented by Jason Derrick, organist; John Schuesslin, trumpeter; and Anne Elizabeth Gray and Robert Tyrone Higginbotham, vocal- ists. Rachel Paris Pritchett, cousin of the bride, read from Scripture. Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory designer Mikado gown. Flowing from the deep V back was an ethereal detach- able train, completed with a tulle bustle and framed by cascading Mikado panels. Completing her ensemble, the bride wore her mother’s sheer illusion chapel-length veil highlighted by medallions of Brussels lace. Around her neck was the bridegroom’s gift of a diamond solitaire drop, made from the stone of a ring from the bride- groom’s grandmother. The bride carried a bouquet of white stephanotis, roses, and hydrangeas, wrapped in an embroidered handkerchief given as a wedding present. The bridesmaids carried similar white bouquets. MAIDS OF HONOR were her sisters, Mary Carlisle and Kendall Glenda Causey. Bridesmaids were Camille McKinley Hensley, sister-in-law of the bride and bride- groom; and Sarah Rose Lomenick and Vivian Bardin Paris, cousins of the bride; and also Kate Rivers Allen, Sydney Brittain Dickson, Madeline Byrd Holiman, Sarah Michele Klutts, Julia Saunders Markow, Ashley Anne Peeples, Sadie Elyse Wilkinson, and Victoria Alexandra Wilson. They wore gowns of heather blue chiffon. Dressed in identical white tulle dresses, flower girls were Rose Francesca Paris and Paris Olivia Pritchett, cousins of the bride. Lauren Catherine Holmes was the bride’s proxy. Honorary bridesmaids were Robyn Lindsey Croft, Laura Isabel Hein, Stephanie Nicole Weis, and Carmen Elizabeth Woods. The bridegroom’s father was best man. Groomsmen included his brother, Russell Johnston Hensley Jr., Carl Coers Adams and Edwin Stevenson Gully, cousins of the bridegroom; and Michael Monte Causey, brother of the bride. Also serving as groomsmen were Benjamin Humphreys Arnold, Buckner Anderson Corso, Andrew Huffman Cunningham, Joseph Carlisle Hurt, Andrew Olin Karban, Richard Popwell Mallory, Thomas Gray Manhein, Lawrence Lee Martin, and Patrick Covington Valentine. Ringbearers were brothers Bernard Bryan Jones V and Bowen Lee Jones. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Henry Paris, grand- father of the bride, gave a Hebrew blessing. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Country Club of Oxford. Memphis Soul Revue presented the music. The day before the wedding, the bride’s grandmothers and aunts hosted a bridesmaid’s luncheon at the Ravine while groomsmen enjoyed a skeet shoot and lunch at the farm of the Hensley family in Holly Springs. That evening, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal din- ner at the Powerhouse in Oxford. A post wedding brunch was held the morning after the wedding at the Oxford home of Irma Buchanan, aunt of the bride. Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple is at home in Dallas where the bridegroom is an associate with Retail Connection and the bride is a speech-lan- guage pathologist with the Richardson School District. and aunts hosted a bridesmaid’s luncheon at the Ravinewhile groomsmen enjoyed a skeet shoot and lunch at thefarm of the Hensley family in Holly Springs. Thatevening, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal din-ner at the Powerhouse in Oxford. A post wedding brunchwas held the morning after the wedding at the Oxfordhome of Irma Buchanan, aunt of the bride.Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple is at
