Serves as a Physical Science Technician within the D/P&NE and is responsible for planning and conducting laboratory experiments andprojects in support of Core Physics, Advanced Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Lasers and Optics, and three Research Centers. Providestechnical assistance to staff, faculty, and cadets on laboratory equipment utilization and care. Guides cadets and faculty in the design andassembling of experimental apparatus, and the generation, compiling, editing, and interpretation of experimental data. Independentlyperforms experiments as needed to validate new procedures, sets up laboratory areas for course instruction, maintains and repairs theassociated equipment, and procures required equipment, material and supplies to support the physics laboratory program. Lays out alllaboratory requirements in the correct sequence and secures and stores all materials following use. Insures full accountability of 3.3million dollars of assigned equipment. Serves as the department hazardous material, environmental compliance and planning officer, andcalibration coordinator.

• Took charge to set up 17 different core laboratories in 18 different laboratory rooms to allow PH201/251/202/252 to complete theirmissions.
