Ida Mae Geiger was the Dean of our NSCC (Northwest Tech) Ohio Buckeye School of Nursing from June 1971 to September 1987. Geiger, a former Fulton County resident, was a graduate of The Ohio State University, and received her master’s degree from Bowling Green State University.

In Ms. Geiger’s honor, a memorial scholarship has been established. The Ida Mae Geiger Scholarship is available for Licensed Practical Nursing students who reside in Fulton County. Additional information on this new scholarship is available online at NorthwestState.edu/Scholarships.
