WILLIAMS LAKE CALF SALE OCTOBER 26TH, 2016 Williams Lake again set records as Wilf & Wade showcased 4000 top quality

calves. This incredible sale started with 800 from Tom & Donna Ilnicki and

Ken & Debbie Ilnicki, Their 1st liner load of powerful Blk Angus s/c 524

lbs traded to 185.75. Their pen of 522 lb Bwf s/c hit 189.50. Their fancy liner

load of 445 lb Blk Angus s/c notched 205.00. The big boys, 601 lbs/c hit

165.75. Their complete Tridem load of 462 lb h/c today raced to 179.50.

Springfield Ranch came to town with 600 hd of Angus X s/c & h/c. Their

load of 566 lb Angus influence s/c topped 177.50 and the 619 lb s/c reached

167.50, the 495 lb Blk s/c hit 188.00. The 551 lb h/c hit 154.00.

Richard & Nancy Hadden had 549 lb Angus X s/c race to 174.50.

Dale & Theresa Smith saw their powerful s/c, 655 lb from Quesnel race to

165.50. Wow, the Hartridge Ranch from Clinton with 300 premium quality

calves. Their choice pen of 612 lb Char X s/c notched 169.00, their pen of 534

lb s/c raced to 178.00. Forty four hd of their Angus X 518 lb s/c notched

180.00 and the fancy 618 lb Char X h/c reached 140.50. Keith Coxon’s 540 lb

Char s/c hit 176.75, his 546 lb Red X h/c hit 156.00.

Roger & Wanda Williams and Terra & Eli Hatch had their 447 lb s/c hit

193.50, their 544 lb Red X replacement h/c hit 171.00. The Colour V Ranch

with heavy 766 lb Simm X s/c topping 148.50, their pen of 677 lb Simm X s/c

hit 163.75. Canyon Enterprises, Al & Bev Madley saw their 1st class group of

calves, Angus X, thirty hd at 538 lbs race to 176.50, their 503 lb s/c notched

180.00. The ring was filled with their 522 lb Hereford s/c. They notched

180.50 , their big Herefords s/c weighed 607 lbs and traded to 164.00.

VANDERHOOF PRESORT CALF SALE OCTOBER 28, 2016 A very welcome upswing in the calf market here on Friday as we cracked the

gate on a liner load of 573 lb Blk s/c who set the pace at 170.00. The next load

of 561 lb Blk s/c held steady at 170.00. Then came a full load of 495 lb Blk s/c

racing to 180.00. The load of 637 lb Blk s/c rung the bell at 170.25. On the

heifer side we found a load of 558 lb Blk h/c and sold them for 158.00. The

lighter sisters made a load at 491 lbs and settled at 152.00. Again great cattle to

sort, out of 1800 calves we saw 6 great loads to get things rolling.

For 492 lb Red/Hereford X s/c we found a value at 184.75. 563 lb s/c of the

same type traded at 177.00, while the bigger 629 lb British s/c brought 169.75.

416 lb s/c still the same type ran all the way to 200.25 and the 705 lb British s/c

hit 159.75. 655 lb Exotic type s/c marked 168.25. Same type at 725 lbs edged

161.75. Exotic 565 lb s/c up to 179.00, while the little brothers at 474 lbs man-

aged 185.75.

A nice set of 559 lb Hereford s/c stopped the bid at 164.75, while the same type

at 626 lbs brought 148.50. Smaller 498 lb Hereford s/c on up to 176.50.

A good bunch of 541 lb Smokey s/c demanding 179.00. 682 lb b/c hit 146.25,

604 lb b/c at 141.25. 369 lb b/c climbed to 208.00.

Some smaller packages of Blk s/c like the 697 lb s/c sold at 161.75. 416 lb s/c

all the way to 210.50. 340 lb Blk s/c couldn’t be stopped until 221.00.

Back to h/c we find a great package of 489 lb British h/c worth 149.00. 631 lb

h/c, same type, traded at 142.00. 555 lb British h/c marked 143.75. 411 lb h/c

up to 155.00. 341 lb British h/c settlled at 152.00.

Exotic h/c weighing 553 lbs forced the bid to 150.50. 501 lb h/c staying at

151.50. Some Blk/Exotic X 494 lb h/c managed 149.00. 476 lb Hereford h/c

brought 147.00. 541 lb Smokey h/c edged 146.00, while 468 lb Smokey h/c

carried on to 164.25. 627 lb Blk h/c traded to 147.00. 704 lb h/c same type

bringing 140.25. 419 lb Blk h/c racing to 158.00 while the little 342 lb h/c all

the way to 171.00.

What an exhibition of great quality cattle. A very enjoyable sale to be a part of.

Thanks to everyone involved. November 4th sale shows 2400 calves, 100 year-

lings, 300 cows and 30 bulls (sale is full). November 11 has 300 hd booked. On

November 12 John Valla complete herd dispersal sale starts 11:00 a.m.

A fancy pen of their 519 lb h/c saw 146.00. Ed & Cheryl Monicals 590 lb Red

s/c hit 172.50, their 683 lb Red s/c rolled to 168.75. Jamie Law filled the ring

with a top pen of 629 lb s/c, they hit 171.50, their pen of 528 lb s/c raced to

178.50, their 500 lb h/c topped our trade at 157.75. Mike & Tony Bayliffe

today set a pace with yearlings. Their liner load of Hereford steers, 800 lbs

raced to 153.00, the big boys 924 lb hit 150.00.

Ken & Carol Foster and Peggy Allison’s load of 976 lb British steers hit

153.50, their group of 873 lb steers reached 159.75. Gordon & Eileen

Hutchinson topped our cow trade with 1631 lb cows to 84.50.

One of the best quality calf sales we have ever held. Just over 3100 hd today and every buyer chair was filled. The Douglas Lake Cattle Co. put the

action to this top sale. Their liner load of 811 lb Hereford yearling open Heifers

topped our trade at 154.50. A pen of their 900 lb Hereford heifers hit 152.75. Lloyd

Gavelin from Merr itt set the pace for the calf sale today. Their 677 lb Red &

Rbf s/c raced to 168.75. Ross Cunningham saw their 622 lb s/c power to 167.00.

Nick & Lonette Graffunder today set the place on fire with 753 lb Red Simm

X s/c trading 169.20, their beautiful pen of 674 lb h/c notched 143.25.

Mike Lipkewich’s 610 lb Angus X s/c rolled to 167.50.

Ashton Creek Ranch’s 717 lb Simm X s/c hit 169.25, the 770 lb s/c rolled to

166.00 and the 672 lb Rbf s/c hit 171.50, their fancy 614 lb Red neck replacement

heifers hit 152.00. Eric Bergstrand filled the ring with 716 lb Bwf s/c, they traded

to 169.75. Bob & Donna Leavitt filled the ring with 38 top s/c, 648 lbs at 173.50.

25 hd of their 574 lb h/c reached 147.00. Reynold Mazu Jr with a top pen of twenty

nine s/c all Blk/ Bwf from Cherryville weighing 755 lbs traded to 169.75. Their 36

hd of 649 lb h/c raced to 145.00. Steve Macdougall Gelbveigh X 603 lb s/c today

notched 171.00. Ken MacDougall's 707 lb s/c today saw 166.00.

the doors off. Forty five hd of their 691 lb Angus/ Blk Simm X s/c hit 168.75.

Thirty hd of their 644 lb s/c saw 173.00. A top pen of their 614 lb s/c hit

175.50.John & Dave Harrison’s heavy powerful 754 lb s/c saw 168.75, Twenty

four hd of their 600 lb s/c hit 173.00. R Devick & Sons saw their 679 lb Blk X s/c

sell to 173.50, the group of 557 lb Blk h/c rolled to 152.00.The Wabnegger Family

of Keremous had 717 lb Angus X s/c hit 169.00, their 640 lb s/c rolled to 172.25

and the 650 lb h/c hit 143.50. Mitchell Cattle Company set the place on fire with

forty one hd of 773 lb Simm X steers, 167.75. The Sharpe Lake Ranch today with

111 yearlings, their pen of 967 lb Hereford steers hit 162.00, 25 hd of their 919 lb

steers today raced to 165.00, their group of 804 lb spay heifers traded to 158.00.

Ranch showcased 35 s/c, all Angus X, 677 lb traded to 169.00. with heavy 130

lb s/c racing to 167.50. John & Carol Anderson had 754 lb s/c sell to 165.75, their

662 lb s/c hit 169.00. Blaine & Laura Louis saw their 687 lb Blk s/c top 165.50.

Their 1005 lb steers brought 150.00, and their 671 lb Blk h/c hit 144.00. The Hat

Creek Land & Cattle Co today with two hundred top calves. 78 hd of their

539 lb Blk/ Bwf h/c hit 151.25. 30 hd of their 472 lb h/c notched 174.50. Dixon

Creek Farms with Paul & Irene Kempter saw their load of 712 lb Simm X s/c

hit 167.00 and their big group of 667 lb SimmX h/c topped 142.75, while the 592

lb h/c rolled to 147.50. Rafeal & Janet Horsh’s 680 lb s/c sold to 164.75. Old Roper Field Ranch had 700 lb Hereford s/c hit 160.50, the fancy 571 lb s/c

reached 164.26. Linda Allison from Princeton with some of the heaviest calves in

the sale. Her 724 lb Angus X s/c today powered 164.75. 27 hd of her 641 lb s/c

notched 167.00, her h/c, 713 lb raced to 143.00.
