Like most groups and businesses this is the busiest time of the year for Rangiora Promotions and we are
loving it! Christmas Celebration Night was an absolute hit and I have heard from many retailers and
eateries who had a very profitable evening.
Last week we had our final Last Wednesday Club for the year and the turn out saw over 70 of our members
join us to learn about our four co-hosts and celebrate the year that's been, while our Chair Person Ross
Ditmer wished you all a Merry Christmas!
The Rangiora Toyota Santa Parade and Christmas Party in the Park is on THIS SUNDAY and I am
particularly excited about our Parade this year. We have had a very positive response from our community
and there are several entries putting a huge amount of effort into their floats.
We have almost completed a project that has been a long time in the making, which you may have seen
around town at the four entrances to Rangiora we have constructed four permanent event advertising
structures and you can read more about this below.
.
Best Wishes, Belinda Topp - Promotions and Membership
As we draw near to the end of the year we can reflect on a very successful
year for our association. We have raised the bar with every event we hosted and that
is in no small part due to the fantastic team we have. Every board member has at
least one event that they help organise and assist with, and of course behind every
event are our two lovely ladies Belinda and Chelsea.
Hopefully you may have seen the stunning new signs that are being erected at the
entrances to Rangiora, these signs will promote upcoming events in the town and if
you have an event that needs promoting contact Belinda to see if we can help.
With a very successful Celebration Night and Last Wednesday Club completed we
can look forward to our last event of the year the Rangiora Toyota Santa Parade and Party in the
Park, and don’t forget in January Muscle Car Madness Downtown Street Party, so please come along and
enjoy these events.
Best Wishes, Ross Ditmer, Chairperson

Community Event Advertising
We are very excited to announce a project that has been a long
time in the making is almost complete. In the four entrances to
Rangiora (Lineside Rd, Oxford Rd, Milton Ave and Woodend Rd)
we have constructed four permanent event advertising structures.
These structures are designed to accommodate Community
Groups who are wishing to advertise their upcoming events.
They are solely for advertising Community Events and we are
currently working on the finer details for how this will work. It will
of course be a booking system and to book these signs you will
need to contact Belinda - [email protected].
We would like to acknowledge the incredible support that we
have received from CERT - who provided the funding for the
construction of these signs; MainPower who provided their services to dig the holes for the posts and Men
at Work who provided the traffic management required during construction. Without the support of these
businesses and funding bodies these projects simply wouldn't be possible.
Thank you also to Horton Signs and the Waimakariri District Council who have worked along side
Rangiora Promotions to organise these structures.

Are you or someone you know looking for a fun, rewarding small business?
Just Eventz was formed in 2006 and was the first pole dancing business in the Bay of Plenty. Almost a year
ago I got it up and running again in North Canterbury but haven't been able to dedicate the time to it that it
needs.
If you have a passion for dance, empowering women, fitness and love to party, then this is a great
opportunity. You would be running pole and burlesque in-home parties. Very popular for hens' parties! I
have a number of leads for pole fitness lessons that I can also pass on.
Full training would be given. To have a chat and find out more, please call Jennifer, 027 422 8154.
