Below are some favorite holiday recipes submitted by our Bella Tour Manager’s
They wanted to share these with our “bus family” for the holidays – ENJOY!
Kathy’s Nutmeg Logs Ingredients: 1 cups soft butter, 1 egg, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp nutmeg, ¼ tsp salt, ¾ cups sugar, 3 cups flour. Flavoring: Blend 2 cups confectioners’ sugar and 2 Tbsp. light cream Frosting: Cream 1/3 cup butter with 1 tsp vanilla and 2 tsp run. Cream butter with flavorings. Beat in sugar, blend in egg, sift together dry ingredients. Shape dough on a floured board into ½ diameter logs cut in 3” lengths. Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes
Ellie’s Holiday Snowballs Combine & Melt: 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits & ½ cup evaporated milk Stir in: 1 ¼ cups sifted powdered sugar & ½ cup chopped walnuts Chill until firm, but not hard; Form 1” round balls; Roll in 1/ 1/3 cup flaked coconut Serves 30 guests
Nancy’s Mexican Chocolate Cake w/Icing Preheat oven to 350*; grease & flour 13X9 pan - 1 Stick Butter or Oleo, 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil, 1 cup Water, 2 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate*, 2 cups Flour, 1 teaspoon Baking Soda, 2 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon Cinnamon, 2 Eggs – beaten, 1 teaspoon Vanilla, 1/2 cup Sour Milk (1/2 teaspoon vinegar in 1/2 cup milk) Combine Butter, Oil, Chocolate & Water in saucepan. (or double boiler); Heat until chocolate is melted. Combine Flour, Baking Soda, Sugar, Cinnamon, Milk, Eggs & Vanilla in a large bowl; Combine chocolate mixture with flour mixture; Pour into pan (batter is soupy) Bake 20 to 25 minutes, or until toothpick is clean. Mexican Chocolate Icing 1 Stick Butter or Oleo; 2 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate*, 6 Tablespoons Milk, 1 package (1lb) Confectioners’ sugar (2 2/3 cups = 1 pound), 1 teaspoon Vanilla, 1/2 cup Pecans-chopped. Save some whole Pecans for Garnish. Combine Butter, Chocolate & Milk in saucepan. Heat until bubbles form around edges of pan. Remove from heat. Add Confectioners’ Sugar, Vanilla & Chopped Pecans; Beat till well mixed; Icing is not stiff. Ice cake while still warm; Use whole Pecans as garnish decoration on top of icing.

Reservations – Payments
Completed Registration form with Emergency contact form with required deposit is needed to reserve your seat on ANY tour. Once received you
will be notified via mail a few weeks prior to your trip by letter with your balance due, luggage tag, and final itinerary for the tour.
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Master Card and Discover
Tips to make your group travel experience more enjoyable Because this is a GROUP tour, we appreciate you being on time for all venues so everyone can enjoy the trip. Here are some other tips to make your trip more pleasurable.
Make sure Bella knows of any dietary or medical restrictions so we can make arrangements in advance to meet your needs
Be sure that all paperwork is filled out completely, to include a cell phone number for our tour manager to have while on tour
Bring a list of your medications to have on you, while on tour, in case of an emergency
Safety is #1 - The safest place for our passengers is in your seats while the bus is in motion, should you need to move on the bus while the bus is in motion, please use overhead hand rails for your safety.
No glass containers on the bus – we encourage twist top bottles for all beverages.
Don’t forget to pack sunscreen, umbrella or poncho, camera; sunglasses, and comfortable shoes – although we ordered sunshine - we always want to be prepared for any kind of weather and make sure you are comfortable
Sit back and relax and let Bella take care of you while on tour – Should you have any needs while you are on tour, let your Bella Tour Manager know and they will be happy to assist you. It is our pleasure!
PLEASE NOTE: Be aware when you sign up for trips that you can comfortably participate in the activities on the trip you choose – We are incorporating a new chart system that will help you and be on each tour pricing print out that gives you a better idea as to how much walking is involved on each tour (Refer to chart below)
