Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts.” - Mother Teresa Dear Parents and Staff As we come to the end of the third week of Lent I would like to build upon the theme of reconciliaGon and forgiveness that I wrote about last week. Forgiveness does not come with any strings aLached. It can’t go part of the way. To be truly authenGc it must be complete and absolute. There are Gmes when forgiveness is difficult and our pain and lack of trust colour our ability to give others another chance. The answer that Jesus gave to Peter when he asked about forgiveness should act as a guide for all of us. ‘Lord, how o*en must I forgive my brother if he wrongs me? As o*en as seven ;mes?’ Jesus answered, ‘Not seven I tell you, but seventy – seven ;mes.’ Ma#hew 18: 21 – 22 SWIMMING CARNIVAL CongratulaGons to all of the children who parGcipated in the Year 4 – 6 Carnival today. It was wonderful to see everyone trying their best and congratulaGng each other for their performance no maLer what their placing. Thank you to Mr BreL Webb who has, again, organised another excellent Carnival that catered for all abiliGes. BreL will list all of the results in next week’s newsleLer. P&F NIGHT MARKET AXer the success of our first ever Night Market last year I’m really looking forward to tomorrow evening’s event. The members of the P&F have been working hard to organise a range of delicious food for you to purchase. Of course, you are very welcome to bring along your own picnic dinner, but with everything very reasonably priced, why would you bother? There are a few points that I would like to draw to your aLenGon to ensure that we all have a great evening.
