ERM Ref: 0414229 Exploration Right Number: 12/3/236 Dear Sir/ Madam, RE: EIA for Exploration Drilling within Offshore Block ER236, KZN, South Africa: Commencement of EIA Process and Release of Draft EIA Report for Public Comment Your Department / Directorate as been identified as a commenting authority to provide input into the Draft Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for Exploration Drilling within Offshore Block ER236, KZN, South Africa This report is now available for comment for 30 days, from 25 September to 8 November 2018. Please find a copy of the report enclosed. As required in terms of Sections 24O (2) & (3) of the National Environmental Management Act 62 of 2008, as amended, please provide your comments to ERM before 26 October 2018. Your comments, and our response, will be incorporated into the Final EIA Report to be submitted to PASA for consideration. Please ensure that your comments reach ERM on or before 8 November 2018.
