Information for Admission to B.Tech./B.Arch. Programmes through JoSSA/CSAB2021

Date for Physical Reporting for Admission

All the candidates who had SECURED the seat allotted during JoSSA-2021 rounds (1-6) and paid

partial admission fee through JoSSA portal and such candidates who will be securing a seat in NIT

Patna through CSAB special rounds-I & II are required to complete the following steps of process

for admission to B.Tech./B.Arch. programmes at National Institute of Technology Patna for the

academic year 2021-22(July-Dec 2022) during 07th Dec to 13th Dec 2021, 5:00 PM(Physically).

Student needs to report for Admission with following documents:

i. Print out of Online Admission Form ( Click here to fill up online application form

Steps to fill up this online form is attached with this Notice for your reference. Link will be activated

on 07 December, 2021)

ii. Affidavit by the student regarding anti-ragging (Format Attached)

iii. Affidavit by the parent/guardian regarding anti-ragging (Format Attached)

iv. Medical Certificate should be issued from the registered Medical Practitioners/ Govt. Doctors

(Format Attached)

v. Affidavit with respect to Gap year, if any (i.e. reason for discontinuity between passing year of

qualifying examination and year of admission to B. Tech/ B. Arch program.) (Format Attached)

vi. Affidavit by student and parent regarding submission of documents (Format Attached)

vii. Four passport size photographs identical to the one uploaded during JEE(Main)2021

viii. Original Conduct Certificate from the school/Board/Institute last Attended

ix. Original Migration or Transfer Certificate from the School/institute last Attended

x. JEE (Main) score card 2021 for Paper-I/Paper-II as applicable

xi. Provisional Seat Allotment Letter / Admission Letter generated from JoSSA/CSAB-2021

xii. Proof of seat acceptance fee paid/Remaining Fees paid to JoSSA/CSAB 2021.

xiii. Photo identity card [issued by govt. agency/last attended school/Class XII admit card]

xiv. Date of birth proof [Class X Mark Sheet/Certificate/Aadhar Card]

xv. Class XII (or equivalent) board mark sheet and Pass certificate.

xvi. Certificate of category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS), if applicable, as per Government of

India format, available on the JoSAA-2021/CSAB-2021 website, issued by the competent

authority. In case of OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS category, the certificate must be issued on or after

April 01, 2021. Please note that (i) Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) issued by Maharashtra

State must be validated by Social Welfare department (in case of SC and OBC-NCL category)

and Tribal Welfare department(in case of ST category) of Maharashtra Government. The

SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates of Maharashtra State have to produce their caste validity

certificate in the format available on JoSAA-2021/CSAB-2021 website.

most economically backward students to get remission of the Tuition fee

Refer JoSAA-2021/CSAB-2021 website for format. The certificate will be rejected if the

disability is less than 40%.

xix. OCI/PIO card/ Passport, if applicable

Note: If the original certificates are not in English/Hindi, English/Hindi version/translation of

such certificates, duly certified by the Principal/Director or other competent authority of the

graduating Institute, will be required during the verification of documents.

NOTE:

1. Classes for B.Tech/B.Arch-1st Semester (admitted through DASA/JoSSA/CSAB-2021)

will commence from 14 December, 2021(Tuesday) (Physical mode),Time Table and

related information will be made available on the Institute website (www.nitp.ac.in) in

due course of time.

2. In case situation deteriorates then the above admission procedure may be reviewed and

Please Note:

• Balance fee as per above stated category and parental income slab has to be paid by

the student at the time of physical reporting via online mode and submit the fee

• Hostel fee is Rs.9000/- and Mess fee is Rs.15000/- per semester.

• Student needs to address request to HMC office for allotment of Hostel & Mess

facility at the time of physical reporting in the campus.

• Those student who will be allotted Hostel will be guided accordingly for fee payment

via online mode.

• There is NO provision for paying any fee via Cash/Demand Draft/Cheque. All fee

payment has to be done via online fee portal and fee payment receipt is generated

online after every successful transaction.
