The Community Advisory Committee is comprised of ten members and considers initiatives and matters related to Parks, Recreation, Culture, Trails, Transportation and the Environment. The Community Advisory Committee meets every second month, with the next meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2019. The Town of Aurora thanks all applicants for their interest in serving the community. August Skylight Gallery artist The Skylight Gallery artist for August is Jo-Anna Davies. Visit the Skylight Gallery this month to see the exhibition The Flow of the Journey (2008-2019). The Flow of the Journey is an exciting exhibition featuring artist Jo-Anna Davies and her stunning works of art. Primarily in oil, acrylic, and watercolour, the artwork on display highlights little moments in life that are often taken for granted. Themes of family, music, and love are demonstrated within the work, communicating a sense of nostalgia to the viewer. This exhibit is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Skylight Gallery at Aurora Town Hall, 3 rd floor.
