Session A:

Hardware/Trouble- shooting (2nd Floor) This session will be a station rotation. A DoIT team member will lead individual hands on training on hardware.

Session B:

Blended Learning Competencies (ITC)

The format of this session will involve Jigsaw. The 4 domains, identified by iNACOL, will be investigated.

Session C: Choose one

C1: iLife: Garage Band and iMovie (Tech Cafe)

Develop an understanding of the technical functionality, sharing, and storage capabilities. Receive tips for feedback and assessment. Walk away with specific project ideas.

C2: iWorks (Multipurpose Room)

Explore Keynote, Numbers, and Pages. Each topic offers an opportunity for creation. Build a presentation for class use or a communication product for parents. You decide!

C3: iPads (ITC)

Explore the potential. What is your interest? Apps? Creation Apps? Re-think the SAMR model with iPads.

what is an un-conference? An un-conference is a conference organized, structured, and led by attendees.

Attendees will propose topics on post-it-notes.

Topics will be categorized and rooms assigned by the organizers of the un-conference.

Attendees choose a session to lead or simply join the conversation. These are posted on the white boards of the ITC room.

Participants have the freedom to step in and out of rooms.

what is the role of attendees in an un-conference? As soon as members settle in attendees should:

Create an agenda.

Generate questions they have about the topic of the session.

Use the expertise in the room to address the questions.

If there is no “expertise,” research or use Bootcamp Blackboard resources.

Create solutions to questions.
