PBL Expectation Focus This week’s focus for PBL is:

“Think before you act” Our PBL focus for this fortnight is “Think before you act.” In the classroom and playground please take the time to think “Am I making a good or a bad choice?” When you think before you act you will be better prepared to make a good choice. Thinking before you act means “stopping, thinking, and then doing the correct behaviour.”

Crossing the Road Safely At Griffith North Public School, we are very fortunate to have three children’s crossings, two that are supervised by crossing attendants. Please ensure that when crossing the road you are using these crossings for the safety of your children. Also when driving in our school zone, you must stop at the crossings when someone is ready to cross. There have been a couple of near misses with student and parents who are not using these crossings correctly and some cars not stopping. We appreciate your support with this.

After School After school, it is important that students, who are walking home, leave the school at 3.15pm and walk directly home, without stopping at friend’s places, parks etc. We also encourage students who are being picked up by parents to walk to their cars directly. A reminder that the equipment and the soccer goals in the K-2 playground are out of bounds after school, as student often play on them instead of going home directly. We appreciate you support with ensuring all students get home safely.

Canteen News Week 7

Everyday foods are the healthy options, whereas occasional foods should only be ordered or purchased occasionally, as they are not as healthy. The occasional foods are marked by the red asterisk. Thanking you Kelli and Paulina Canteen Supervisors
