FOGA ApS has on basis of information received from offshore‐operators at the North Sea prepared the following newsletter describing present activities:

MAERSK OIL

Vessels: 

The vessel POLARCUS ASIMA is conducting a seismic survey at the DUC Fields until End‐October. The vessel will be towing 8 cables with length of approx. 3.500 meter and a spread of approx. 800 m. FOGA FLO Agner Svendsen will be stationed onboard and can be contacted via VHF ch 16. POLARCUS ASIMA will be assisted by the vessels OPAL, BRAVO TOPAZ, & NORDSØEN. See attached notice.

The vessel EDT PROTEA conducting divining operations within the DUC Fields.

The vessel MAX is conducting guard duties at the DAN buoy. Position: 55°28,180 N  005°09,46  E. 

The vessel CECILIE is conducting guard duties at the GORM buoys. Position: 55°35'12.183"N ‐ 004°47'33.200"E.

The vessel ANETTE CHRISTINA is conducting guard duties at the REGNAR buoy. Position: 55°23'07.187"N   005°13'42.469"E.

Rigmoves: 

The rig ENSCO 71 in position at  DAN FA.

NOBLE SAM TURNER in position at TYRA SE.

Rigmoves:

The accommodation rig MAERSK GUARDIAN is in a standby position at XANA, awaiting improvement of the weather, there after TYRA E A Field.

The rig MAERSK RESILIENT is expected to be moved from GORM B to HALFDAN A, approx. 20/10‐2016.

Survey at the DUC Fields: 

A series of monitoring stations has been deployed around the Southern platforms at the DUC Fields. The stations are marked with yellow buoys and situated at the below mentioned positions:

  The safety zones are 500 meters from the positions.

FINO 3 ‐ Research Platform

The research platform FINO 3was established in 2007/2008 approx. 45 nautical miles west of the island Sylt at the position 55° 11,7' N 007° 09,5' E.A 500 meter safety zone has been established around the platform, which in the future will be situated inside of the DAN TYSK wind farmarea.

DAN TYSK wind farmAcc. to the Danish Notices to Mariners No. 1154 the wind farm  DAN TYSK  will be established andmarked by cardinal buoys, stated by the  positions 1‐9). During the building phase a 500 meter wide safety zone will be established around the wind park. In the area will be prohibition of navigation,anchoring,  fishery and trawl equipment at theseabed.The prohibition period will be in force from1. december 2012. The wind farm , when completed, implies80 wind mills, a powerplatform, an accomodationplatform and  power‐ and communication cables.

Hejre Project: 

In connection to the establishment of the HEJRE Platform a safety zone of 500 m has been established around the position: 56°14,809' N ‐ 003°57,534' E. The safety zone has been established according to the Energy Ministry Order No 657 of 30 December 1985.

SOUTH ARNE field

The storage tank and top site of  SOUTH ARNE field is installed at position 56o 04,72' N  004o 13,82' E, connected with a new bridge to:platform South Arne WHP E (Well Head Panel) at position 56o 04,693' N  004o 13,85' E.

Satellitplatform Syd Arne WHP N is installed at the position 56o 05,744' N  004o 13,154' E, where a safety zone of 500 meter is established acc. to DEA regulation No. 657. 

SOUTH ARNE's tanker loading  facility,  where tankers are  loaded at  8 ‐ 10 day  intervals  is located at WGS‐84 pos. 56o 05,55' N  004o 15,37' E.

The oil company Wintershall has established a new platform called RAVN; at the position: 55°52,912' N ‐ 004°14,078' E. 

A prohibited area with a radius of 500 m from the position has been established. Within the area unauthorized navigation, anchoring, diving and fishing is prohibited. 

The vessel ISLAND PATRIOT is expected at the RAVN site approx. 18/10 for a job with a duration of approx. 2 weeks. All activities will be within the 500 m zone of the RAVN installation. The drilling rig ENSCO 121 is in position at the RAVN Platform and ESVAGT CANTANA is on station as standby vessel.  

At the Horns Rev site a transformerstation has been established. Position: 55°41,421' N ‐ 007°41,162' E.  The platform is lit by floodlights. A prohibited area has been established within below positions marked by yellow buoys:

The oil company ConocoPhillips are conducting a seismic survey at the EKOFISK oilfield close to the border between Danish and Norwegian waters, until approx November 5, 2016 with the vessel SKANDI NOVA. The vessel will not tow any cables as the seismic cables are trenched 1,5 m into the seabed.

Danish navigational warning no. DK‐214‐16At the below mentioned position a wreck of a submarine has been discovered containing dangerous ammunition.Due to safety reasons, Danish Maritime Authority prohibit all unauthorized fishing, anchoring and diving on and within 100 m radius of the wreck in pos. 55 30,62 N ‐ 007 56,84 E. Please note that the size of the 

prohibited area has been changed. Violation of the prohibition is punishable by fine or prison.
