Starting from the idea of identical rotors for primary andsecondary crushers, we oversized our primary rotors to beable to use the same hammers.

Unique hammer attachment systemOver and above the different grades of wear-resistant steelavailable throughout the range, NP impact crusher ischaracterised by a unique attachment unit.

Hammers are fixed to rotors by a single wedge assemblydelivering higher tightening torque than any othermanufacturer. Combined with perfect hammer alignmenton rotor contact faces, this guarantees the enormousadvantage of eliminating gaps between the rotor and thehammers. This reduces risks of hammer breakage andmakes it possible to push the use of cast iron for hammersbeyond conventional limits.

Easy to maintain with high security levelThe same hydraulic power unit opens the frame andadjusts of the liners. Protected doors located all around theframe make it possible to reach the interior of the crusher.Hammers can be changed vertically or horizontally whichenables the machine to adapt to many implementationpossibilities.

Particular attention has been paid to the degree of themodularity of wear parts to make it possible to significantlyreduce the number of part references.

Moreover, as, on a given machine, parts do not all wear atthe same rate and can be moved around the crusher, thenumber of spare and repair parts in stock can be reduced.

Additionally, sensors on the frame make all themaintenance interventions safe by forbidding machinestart up.

Application flexibilityNo drastic modifications are required if, for any reason, youdecide to change your NP impact crusher tasking. By thesimple addition of options like the hydraulic assistance,hydraulic adjustment, a third breaker plate, the use ofdifferent grades of wear resistant steel (hammers, liners,side liners), NP impact crushers can be adapted to everykind of application.

Impact crusher capacity charts are developed for use as anapplication tool to properly utilize the NP crusher’scapabilities. The capacity figures shown apply to materialweighing 100 pounds per cubic foot or 1600 kg per cubic

meter. The crusher is one component of the circuit. As such,its performance is partly dependent on the proper selectionand operation of feeders, conveyors, screens supportingstructure, electric motors, drive components and surge bins.
