My name is Andrew. What the shelter is doing for me is giving myself and my kids a warm and safe place to sleep. A place that's friendly, as well as a place to meet other families that have the same goals and values in life, but also who face similar challenges in life. It's also giving me the opportunity to save money for housing, especially by providing us with daily meals and even sack lunches. Most importantly, aside from keeping a roof over the kids, it’s helping keep our morale up and keeping us happy as a family, so I don't give up. My kids see me not giving up and it gives them hope as well.

My three children and I are so thankful, grateful and appreciative of everyone and everything the Guadalupe Shelter has done for us. Each and every one of the sta at the shelter has a special place in our hearts. ere are times when things can get dicult in life. For them to welcome us as a part of their family with support and love really changed our lives for the better. I will never let my children forget all the hopes, love and dreams you made possible in our lives. Every day and every night we appreciate your patience, graciousness and friendly smiles and hard work.
