As the school year comes to a close, I would like to thank the students, parents/carers and staff for their commitment and hard work they have invested in making 2018 a year of change and growth. It has been a pleasure to see our students growing and seeing themselves as learners and part of the community. Staff have embraced new initiatives and built their skills in Positive Behaviour for Learning and reflective teaching practice.

Wewak Street School has embraced the Curiosity and Powerful Learning tool and is looking forward to using it to make our school, and learning, even greater. Wewak Street School is committed to see improvement in every student, every teacher and every leader. Transition week has had a successful start and students are excited and settled in their new classes. Feedback on this trial would be appreciated.
