What has been your greatest accomplishment on the board this year
Being proactive to lower the regional debt this year. Lowered debt
significantly. Also updating the website

Currently serves in many positions and is able to balance time
adequately. Would thrive and be able

Are you staying at UIS for your masters?
Yes
o UW-Oshkosh

o Q&A
WIU: Where is it coming from? Which year?
FY15, I’ll order it April 1. The money comes from our tech savings
fund.
Indiana State: How long has the current laptop been in use?
4 years.
IUPUI: Are these the only programs you will need?
Yes, the rest of what we do is through Google Drive. With Adobe
Acrobat, it’s needed for finance files.
Whitewater: Were there any thoughts of buying insurance?
Typically we get the AppleCare for the year. If it’s something you
would like to see, then that’s something we can do. It’s never really
needed since we stick to the 4 year cycle and it can be pretty pricey.
DePaul moves to end Q&A

UW Oshkosh: Is Microsoft Office the permanent or four year one?
Permanent.
UW Oshkosh: Will transfer to the next laptop as well?
We typically just repurchase Office, since after four years there have
been substantial updates requiring us to do so.
IUPUI: Will this be Microsoft 2013?
Yes we will also be looking at Microsoft 360.

o Discussion:
o Indiana State feels that this could possibly throw out bid
o WIU: cannot support since it could DQ bid, believes it needs more clarification
o Milwaukee: extremely helpful to bid writers, just clarifies how to save things;
promotes real word experience
o UIC echoes WIU, feels that it needs to be more clear, if a bid would be DQ’d
because of the title, we would like that in there
o Calumet: this piece is necessary and that when creating bids, it doesn’t take that
much effort

RBD feedback time?
Redundant

Discussion:
Marquette: not in favor, should not be DQ based on, this regulation makes it
harder for schools to bid
Platteville: not in favor, why specify?
WMU: we are in favor, this real world experience is practical and will
improve filing
NIU: it isn’t a hard thing to change file, but not sure if bid should be DQ’d

UW Oshkosh: What if your term if office at your institution is not in line
with this timeline? Would my position not count for this?
It means your content being a CC would be from when you started
until No Frills. We’re open to an amendment to make it NACURH
to NACURH. We did it for No Frills though because you wouldn’t
be serving until NACURH typically and couldn’t include content
from there.
Marquette: Is it the current CC or can you bid on the previous CC, say the
person we are taking over for?
You can bid for the CC you are taking over for. But you could also
be put up as a nominee. The way it was worded before it sounded
like the past two CCs, not including you, instead of including you and
your predecessor.
MSU moves to end Q&A
2nd by Oakland
Withdrawn
Platteville: Since some of us having incomings now, that includes some prior
CC information, would that include NCC info No Frills to NACURH 2014
for this year?
You could not include that information.
WIU: For NACURH, could we bid for the CC who served up until No
Frills?
Yes
CMU: Would the only regional part you would put on your bid be the
GLACURH conference? Because you don’t have No Frills or NACURH
meetings?
You could put on other involvement, such as committees and things
you’ve done in NACURH that aren’t necessarily business meetings.
They can also put anticipated attendance at No Frills.
UMichigan moves to end Q&A
2nd by UW Green Bay
Withdrawn
Guelph: How would it work if we had it as No Frills to No Frills?
Terms usually end at NACURH, so it includes most terms.
Oshkosh: Do you bid for it at GLACURH or No Frills?
Here.
o Oshkosh: If the point is to take this to NACURH, then you
can’t go for NACURH things?
You are able to adjust your bid between now and the
NACURH deadline. And it will still fit in your term.
If your constitution has a NACURH to NACURH
term, then you’re fine.

Marquette: We are not in favor. We should be recognizing past CCs for the

Windsor: Is the authorization happening by the ADFA or is the ADFA

Authorization by the ADFA.
SIU: For Illinois you have to be 25, how will that affect the process?
I checked into it mainly with Enterprise and they said it’s now 21 in
Illinois.
CA ADNRHH: Frequently Avis & Enterprise have contracts, which
allow students to use rentals as low as 18 if it’s for university business.
UW Green Bay: Why not university vehicles?
In certain states there are trainings that have to be done. Most
universities require you to be staff. They’re generally a lot more expensive
than rental cars. It’s more feasible to do rentals.
IUPUI: Where does this come out of the budget and how much would you want
to spend on average?
I wouldn’t know on average. It would come out of travel and only if it
needed to be done.

Jenna Decker by DePaul
Jenna is has been an asset to the organization. She started off as a CC.
Sub-region president. Prepared her to be the NCC she is today. Taken
the beliefs and integrated them into the region
Beck Wintringer – Whitewater
Met Becky as a delegate. She brought the energy to the conference. She
became a CC and won NCC of the Year. We should admire this
accomplishment. She has been a huge resource for our school and the
region.
Tyler Noragon (IUPUI)
Known Tyler for 3 years and he is very enthusiastic and personable. He
wanted to get his university to come to support their first NRHH
induction. We really support him
Kate Tessier (CMU)
She is from CMU and is passionate and energetic. She has been on RHA
for quite some time and served in many roles. She has received the 4-year
service pin. She pushed for more OTMs and won the travel trophy for
’13. She is the reason why he ran for his position.
Jacob Crosetto (River Falls)
Elected for a second term for ADFA and takes excellent minutes. His
abilities have really impressed him at the past two conferences. Has not
doubt that he will do even greater.
Karlee Keiper (GVSU)
Since she was a freshman she has been very involved in RHA. She has
served in two roles there. She has made herself available to us. She was
the one that served as a proxy and transitioned the current NCC into his
role. She was there to help and encourage the rest of the RHA to attend
GLACURH. She has love for the region
Andrew Haugen (Stevens Point)
He was WI RCC, and AD-NRHH, NCC, and now Director-elect. He
should be given this award, as he has a lot of dedication to the
organization. He has been there for all of us. He also ran NRHH board
room efficiently.
Lindsey Spencer (ISU)
She has served as RCC and served as NCC. She remained helpful
throughout both positions. She was a great resource and is a true friend
of NACURH.
Discussion:
Purdue Calumet
o PC loves everyone. Wants to remind everyone that everyone on
the list is close to someone’s heart.
WIU
o Three people stick out. Jenna Decker received an award after
being an NCC for a year and now serves on the regional and
national level. Lindsey is deserving because she displays passion.
Andrew has a very quick response time and is very supportive.
He takes the time to say hi and converse when passing.
IUPUI
o Lindsey is the best on the list. She helped start the NRHH
chapter at IUPUI. She is the current IN RCC and she is an
incredible leader. She is there for you to answer questions. She
has been a personal mentor to me and never discouraged him.
Lindsey is a great leader and hopefully moving on to be a RA
next year.
IUPUI NRHH
o Echoes IUPUI. She has started the philanthropy challenge and
started the president’s chat.
Green Bay NRHH
o I believe Andrew is a good leader. He is extremely dedicated at
conferences. He has been extremely helpful to NRHH in general
University of Michigan
o I have had the privileged of working with Kate for quite some
time. On the state level she became a chair. In NACURH she is
very active with NRHH. She can make people laugh.
Indiana State
o Tyler was NCC at the same time Lindsey was. He was extremely
helpful to CCs and NRHH CCs. He has been involved for at
least 3 years and is a friend of NACURH.
Western Michigan
o Supports Kate. She was very representative at the winter business
meeting and we would like to see him receive this honor.
Central MI
o All of these candidates are extremely passionate. Kate stands out.
She is very involved on campus. She is a RA. She is constantly
networking. She is compassionate and ‘
Whitewater NRHH
o Becky has done well as a RCC. She has done with WURHA as
well. She created the CC tips for conferences – which were
extremely helpful. Becky is one of the best candidates for this
honor.
Purdue
o When I think about GLACURH and NACURH I think of Tyler.
I look forward to seeing him when I come to conferences.
Grand Valley State
o Jenna, Kate, and Karlee. Kate embodies the principles of the
organization. Jenna has been really encouraging. Karlee has been
extremely helpful on campus. She has been very energetic and
cares about the organization a lot.
UIC
o While it is great to hear a lot on everyone, but UIC feels that
Jenna, Becky, Andrew, and Jacob are very deserving of this
award.
DePaul
o Jacob was the NF Chair for 2012. That was a great responsibility
for someone to take on themselves and wants to commend him
on that effort.
Saginaw Valley
o As a conference chair, he has been an extremely helpful resource.
He sat down with the conference staff to help them through the
finance chair resignation. He has done great things for the
organization and really deserves this honor.
Saginaw Valley NRHH
o We have a lot of great candidates, but would like to highlight
Andrew Haugen. Made him feel that GLACURH was his home
and has remained helpful and willing to lend an ear. He really
cares about this organization.
River Falls
o Becky, Jacob, and Andrew. Becky has been the one I have gone
to for answers to questions. She has remained helpful and
friendly. Jacob has got it together pretty much. For Andrew, we
yield to redundancy.
Evansville
o Echo what Purdue said about Tyler. Met him last night and can
see his passion clearly.
Ball State
o Tyler has a huge passion for GLACURH. He has been a huge
help in getting me into this position and helping with transition.
As NRHH president he has remained passionate.
Whitewater RHA
o Jacob and Andrew have a distinct advantage of being represented
on next year’s RBD. Please keep in mind that other candidates do
not have that luxury.
Carbondale NRHH
o Moved to narrow the list to top five
o University of Illinois Chicago Seconded
o Purdue Calumet objected
o Illinois Chicago did not retract their second
Vote 24-13-1to narrow
Top Five
Jenna Decker
Becky Wintringer
Andrew Haugen
Jacob Crosetto
Lindsey Spencer
Discussion:
o UIC NRHH
Being the ADFA he deals with the financial side of
GLACURH. His services to NACURH are much
underrated. His standards were set high for himself and
for future leaders.
o Marquette
Becky and Andrew have gone above and beyond their
duties. Becky has helped with bidding for all positions.
Andrew has been there as a resource. Though we realize
that Andrew will return next year, we still feel that he
should be inducted now.
o Indiana State
Jacob and Andrew will be able to become inducted next
year. The other three candidates are highly qualified so
that should be taken into consideration.
o University of Michigan
Jacob has a very strong commitment to GLACURH.
Grad school, the MBA program, is very difficult. This
shows that he is extremely committed.
o Oshkosh
Feels that Jacob and Lindsey are equal in their
accomplishments. From the WURHA breakout, we may
not have had the same outcome without Lindsey’s insight
and leadership. She facilitated a great discussion.
o Purdue NRHH
Feels that Jenna, Becky and Lindsey have been dedicated
to GLACURH for 4 years. They represent 3 out of five
sub-regions in GLACURH
o Purdue Calumet
We really hope that the fifth person left out will be
nominated by their host affiliation and dues paid. Lindsey
embodies the spirit, love, and passion. It inspires us to
follow in their footsteps (Becky and Lindsey)
o WIU
In favor of Jenna, Becky, and Lindsey.
o DePaul
In favor of Jacob, Becky, Andrew, Jenna.
o Platteville
Jenna, Becky, Jacob, and Lindsey. Jenna is a great director
and has gone above and beyond. Becky goes the extra
mile because she cares. Jacob is deserving because of his
outstanding financial work. Lindsey led the WURHA
boardroom very well. Andrew is great, but has more
room to grow and can be honored next year.
o NIU
Echo’s previous comments. Lindsey has a lot of
enthusiasm and cares about the organization.
o Windsor
Jenna, Jacob and Andrew were very supportive in the
Ontario breakout
