Requirement for successful completion: Full attendance and active participation for all three (3) Segments.
Completion of evaluation forms at each Segment, documented testimonial,
journal related to patient and personal care between Segments.
Pre and post Segment posture/height photograph measurement.
BONES FOR LIFE will introduce you to
movement as a vehicle for self-directed learning
enhancing day-to-day functional capacity.
Application to patient care:
fall prevention, pain management, bone strength,
movement rehabilitation, bed-rest, aging, & more.
Participant will learn to monitor and adjust their own body ease to:
More effectively position and coach patients in how to move their bodies toenhance function and comfort
Assess more keenly and respond more effectively in the work environment
Include on-the-job body awareness strategies to prevent over-fatigue and
injury
