Saner Child Development Center of Catholic Charities. The Center serves about 100 children ages six weeks to five years. JFS provides a part-time, on-site counselor who observes the children in the classroom and consults with teachers and parents about emotional concerns, developmental progress and learning issues. She offers age- appropriate play therapy for the child, training for the teachers and individual and group parenting work. "I have the opportunity to see the child, work with the family and provide all aspects of necessary intervention," our counselor says.
