This catalogue replaces catalogue 3300

Bearings for heavy engineering applica

tions ; both the technical and product sec

tions have been considerably expanded.

The product range for which detailed

information

is

given now also includes

- bearings such as split cylindrical and

spherical roller bearings, combined

bearings, indexing rollers, some new

spherical plain bearings and hydrostatic

shoe bearings;

-shaft couplings;

-tools and accessories, such as HYDRO-

C M

bolt tensioners, laser alignment

systems, taper gauges;

-condition

monitoring equipment.

Other products which have been part of

the SKF product range for many years but

which have never before been included

in

any SKF catalogue are also introduced.

Since the publication in 1989 of the SKF

General Catalogue 4000, the design of

many bearings has been further improved.

The data in this new catalogue represent

SKF development and production in 1992.

Data which are at variance with those

shown

in

this catalogue are rendered

invalid.
