Preached within the Georgia Baptist Convention as Pulpit Supply for Pastors. Served three years on the board and as secretary of Washington County Ministerial Association,

Volunteered on mission teams to Indonesia with the IMB, Mexico (2x), Philippines, South Africa, Nicaragua, Jamaica (3x), and several states in the USA.

Studied abroad for a New Testament Scriptures class covering the missionary journey of Paul in Turkey, Greece, and Rome, Italy.

Led weekly Bible study and served as Christian Program Coordinator for the Sandersville Regional Youth Detention Center, 2006 thru 2008.
