Site: Between Fulton & Adams St.
For this project, the program of my Brooklyn Pavilion was to serve as an art gallery. My concept in this project was to have rotated cubes and as you move from space to space, each cube rotates to a higher degree then the preceding cube. By doing this the walls of my pavilion were at angles, while a horizonal plane cut through the bottom, creating a flat floor to walk across.

As you progress through the space, the amount of light is filtered through the different perforations depending on the space you were in. Galleries which feature paintings will have less light passing though the space, while galleries with sculptures may have more light passing through the space.
The physical model for the Brooklyn Pavilion was done in all white. As an art gallery, I wanted a pure feeling with these massive marble blocks.

PROJECT 1: WELCOME TO THE BROOKLYN PAVILION
The rotated cube gallery features an outdoor patio area. People can sit down, eat lunch , or have a conversation. In the section cut rendering, there is seating in each gallery space which is created by a connection to the angled walls.

PROJECT 2: WELCOME TO THE BROOKLYN WATERFRONT MUSEUM
My concept for this art museum was to create my circulation on the exertior of my building, rather than the interior. To get from space to space you can walk from room to room, but to get from one level to the other, you must access the exterior glass enclosed corridors.

PROJECT 2: WELCOME TO THE BROOKLYN WATERFRONT MUSEUM
The central core consists of glass elevators along with two staircases at opposite ends. The glass elevator will take you up to the higher levels and you can view the courtyard from the glass enclosed roof terrace. There is a huge central skylight and the glass enclosed terrace gives people a panoramic view of the city and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Physical Model Photographs
The physical model for the BrooklynWaterfront Museum was done in white and blue matboard. The blue matboard represents the aluminum facade, while the white represents the flooring. Clear acrylic was also used to represent the glass which was used in the model as well.
PROJECT 2: WELCOME TO THE BROOKLYN WATERFRONT MUSEUM
This rendering shows the entance of my museum. You can see the central glass elevators, along with the glass enclosed corridors. The circulation is defined in this rendering. the aluminum facade is shown as well and it gives people a feeling of being in an open free environment.

PROJECT 3: WELCOME TO THE BICYCLE RETAIL STORE ON ATLANTIC AVENUE
Site: Between Atlantic Avenue & Pacific Street
Facade: Facade Removed-Interior View
The concept of my bicycle retail store is to have the customers be able to try out their new bike by being able to ride in the store. There will be a bicycle ramp system orien-tated along the border of the interior. The public circulation will be in the center of the space, along with the concrete display wall for the bikes to be hung on. The bikes on display will be treated as paintings hanging in an art gallery.
