Project Name – 4-Laning from Km 42.00 to Km 177.00 in Khed-Sinnar (NH50) in the State of Maharashtra.

Brief Note on Project

1. Brief of the Project :Khed – Sinner section of NH – 50 from Km. 42 to Km. 177 has been taken for four

laning under NHDP, phase – IV on BOT (DBFOT) basis. DPR consultant for this

Project is M/s CEG Jaipur. The work has been awarded to M/s Khed Sinner

Expressway Ltd. (KSEL) (M/s IL & FS Transportation Networks Ltd) on 28.03.2013

and agreement has been signed with Concessionaire on. 08.05.2013 & Date of

Appointment has been fixed on 12.02.2014. This stretch passes through 3 Districts

viz. Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik District. The schedule date of completion of 4

lanning was August 2016.

The work in Nashik & Ahmedngar district is completed, but the project is delayed due

to LA issues especially Bypasses in Pune district. The EOT for the Project has been

approved by of Competent Authority in NHAI HQ New Delhi upto 10.08.2017.

1.2. Location: – Four Laning of Khed – Sinnar Section of NH-50 starts from Km

42+000 on NH–50 (Pune-Nashik Section) at Khed in Pune District and passes

through Naryangaon (Pune District), Sangamner (Ahmednagar District) and ends at

Km. 177+000 near Sinnar (Nashik District). The existing road is of single

carriageway comprising of two lanes with hard shoulders on either side.

ii) In Pune District, Land Acquisition is already delayed due to opposition of

farmers for bypasses in Pune Dist. Shri Sanjay Patil, Dy. Collector (LA) 13,

Pune has been transferred and relieved on 13.09.2016. Since last more than

four months, no full time CALA has been posted and all payment

disbursement and LA work has been stopped causing stoppage of work and

resentment amongst land owners due to non-payment. Full time CALA may

be posted as SLAO No. 13 at the earliest.

iii) Delay in disbursement of compensation for land, particularly in Pune

district. This needs to be expedited on priority basis.

iv) Declaration of Award for Kalamb bypass in Pune District u/s 3 (G) of NH Act 1956 need to be expedited.
