A little over a decade ago, Jameson was known as the “leader in fiber-glass poles” and your “Buddy” for underground cabling.

The latest moniker is “military lighting specialist,” reflecting the growth of one product line to meet the needs of expeditionary forces. The durable Stubby® work light was the springboard for fluorescent stringable shelter lights. Working with the military, Jameson has since developed a diverse line up of lighting products that continues to grow.

The new website reflects Jameson’s commitment to serve two markets with equal dedication to service and quality. Visitors to the site can quickly select their market without wading through information they do not need.

Expeditionary Lighting Systems

Military customers will be directed to an overview page where they can select the type lighting they need: Shelter, Medical, Maintenance or Emergency. From there, they can review different models to find what they need for any situation.

Construction & Maintenance Tools

Professionals in telecommunications, CATV and utilities have made Jameson tools a standard in their industry for new construction and maintenance of existing systems. The Construction/Maintenance page gives them the option to choose tools for inside wiring, underground cabling/locating, over-head construction or line clearance.

Jameson’s arborist and landscap-er customers will find it easier to locate tree trimming products by product type - Poles, Pruners, Pole Saws and Hand Saws.

Product development continues for all markets. New products or projects include Gas and Water Line Tracers, EMI LED Lights, Hard Shelter Lights and Thin Wall Fiberglass Poles.

As new products are released, announcements will appear in the “News” section, along with any instructional editorials to address specific needs of customers.

A new “Contact” form allows visitors to request additional product information, pricing or submit order inquiries.

Jameson’s new website is a reflection of how much the company has grown in the past decade. More importantly, it holds the familiarity of a company that has been in business over 50 years and remains dedicated to the core values of its mission statement:

It is truly amazing how Jameson has grown and diversified both its strong product portfolio and valued customer base in recent years. It is a clear example

of every employee striving for the best quality and service in all aspects of our operation. Jameson now offers 1,000+ product SKUs to over 400 valued custom-ers worldwide.

While we certainly have expanded over the years and operate in many different arenas, I am most proud of those charac-teristics which remain consistent about Jameson.

We have a brand name recognized as the highest in quality, safety and per-formance, along with customer service and delivery that are first in class. We are commited to designing and developing new products that address the evolving needs of our customers and end users, with a focus on making their work easier, safer and more cost-effective. These attri-butes have played a large role in creating

strong, valued relationships with our customers and suppliers.

There is a tremendous sense of pride in knowing each and every employee con-tributes to our commitment to maintain and continually improve on the char-acteristics that make up Jameson. This requires a strong degree of teamwork, dedication and integrity, all of which the Jameson team exhibits in abundance.

While the products and market channels continue to expand for our company, the goal to manufacture and provide world class products and customer service has remained and will remain constant.

Teamwork Integral To Expanding Markets and Products

The Sectional Rod Department’s largest product line consists of the luminescent Glow Rods used to fish wire inside walls, attics, crawl spaces and floors.

This department assembles a variety of kits featuring different size Glow Rods and accessories. They also assemble supporting products to this line: Flexible Installer Drill Bits and a Flexi-Magnet Kit.

These tools are used in our Construction market by CATV, electrical, telecommu-nication and inside maintenance profes-sionals.

While each member of this team works primarily in Sectional Rod, they are cross trained in many other Jameson depart-ments. These three associates have over 14 years of combined experience.

Jimmy Wants To Know . . .

Food Fuels ProductivityWith 25% of Jameson employees par-ticipating in the Biggest Loser, they may want to reconsider when they eat to offset mid-day energy slumps.

A significant number of people in the U.S. eat lightly (if at all) in the morning, heavier in the afternoon and top the day off with a hearty dinner and dessert. The problem with this method is that it deprives you of food when you need it most and loads it on when you need it least.

When you wake up in the morning after 6-8 hours without food or water, this is when you would most benefit from a hearty meal, not when it is close to bedtime.

When planning meals for the day, consider building a meal plan that looks like a pyramid. Breakfast is the base, relatively larger and filling, and your evening snack is the tiny tip.

Just inverting the order of things will go a long way towards helping your work-day energy reserves and keeping your

weight under control.

To make it even more effective, incor-porate protein at breakfast to prevent low blood sugar that can cause mid-morning blahs, afternoon space-outs and general exhaustion.

Add eggs, high-protein cereals, peanut butter, Greek yogurt or cottage cheese to your breakfast line up and end the daily slump.
