NAIDOC Day On Tuesday, we had a fantasc NADIOC Day where students got hands on experience with the first Australian culture. The students and staff experienced indigenous food, artefacts, art, games and storytelling. Once again, the students embraced the importance of cultural acceptance and tolerance, and knowing our own countrys cultural heritage. They really got involved and enjoyed the learning experiences offered to them. Educaonal Research The latest educaonal research talks about the importance of reading at home, as well as at school. The more children read the beer they will be at a range of literacy tasks such as spelling, wring, vocabulary etc. They have now linked reading with achieving success as an adult. The skills in reading and comprehending what they are reading, helps develop the overall wellbeing of adults. So, if you want your children to develop into wonderful young adults, get them reading every night. It might be while you are cooking, bathing the lile ones, or working outdoors. NEWSLETTER Week 1 Term 3 19th July 2017

Dear Parents/Carers, Welcome back to Term 3! I hope you all had a wonderful time with your children during the holidays. Now it’s time to resume the routine of school life. NAIDOC Day On Tuesday, we had a fantastic NADIOC Day where students got hands on experience with the first Australian culture. The students and staff experienced indigenous food, artefacts, art, games and storytelling. Once again, the students embraced the importance of cultural acceptance and tolerance, and knowing our own country’s cultural heritage. They really got involved and enjoyed the learning experiences offered to them. Come along and hear what the teachers can add to the reports which were sent out last term. Your child’s learning is a partnership between the school and yourselves. To improve your child’s learning, teachers need your support, so come along, we are here until 6pm. Anti-Bullying Session This Friday we will be having another Anti-Bullying session with all students. One of the main things I would like
