SWIM MEET BASICS:

For all of those newbies to the swim meet world, he are some quick points to get you through those first few meets.

Please go to the Parents tab on our Website and look under Swim Meet Basics for some more detailed information. Important things not to forget for a swim meet:

1. Water, water and more water!! Pool decks are hot and super dry. Hydration is essential for success!

2. Healthy Snacks. Bring enough for a full 4 hours.

3. Team Uniform. We are proud to be MJKFF!! Let’s show it! Anything with our name is great.

4. Two Towels (no doubt the first one with be soaked by the second race)

5. Warm clothing that covers arms and legs. Even though it is warm on deck, it is im-portant that the swimmers keep their ex-tremities warm.

6. Two sets of goggles!! Right before a race is the favorite time for goggles to break!!
