Walk-a-thon Huge congratulations to our wonderful P and C on organising such a successful Walk-a-Thon last week. You hard work and dedication ensured that the event went smoothly and a great time was had by all. Special thanks must go to Katherine Winkler for her incredible drive and organisational skills. It was an outstanding fundraising achievement. Well done also to all parents who assisted their children with sponsorship and congratulations to all our prize winners. Excursion Excitement is building as Years 5 and 6 prepare for their camps next week. We hope you all enjoy great weather and have a fabulous time. Parents are reminded that unless prior arrangements have been made all camp payments need to be in by this Friday. Please make sure that you read all notes associated with each camp, including clothing and medical requirements. Kindergarten Orientation Our second Kindergarten Orientation is on tomorrow. We are looking forward to seeing all our 2017 enrolments. If you know of any child who is eligible to attend our school next year please invite them along or ask them to call the office for details. Grandparents’ day We are looking forward to Grandparents Day tomorrow. Thanks to Mrs Davies for organising this wonderful morning. Whole School Assembly Our first whole school assembly for the term will be held next Monday October 31 commencing at 2pm. We hope you can come.

P and C Our next P and C meeting will be held next Monday October 31 at 3pm. We hope you can make it along. Early Arrivals Just a reminder that students must not arrive at school before 8.15am as there is no teacher supervision before then. Lately, we have had students arriving as early as 8.00am when there are no teachers on duty. Phones and iPads If you have given your child permission to bring a device to school to use on their bus trip home, please remind them to put the device in the basket in the Office when they arrive at school. Under no circumstances are students allowed to keep them in their bags during the day. There is always the chance they may be broken, or even stolen. In the office they will be safe and students can pick them up on the way to the bus. Once they are on the bus, they can use them. If you have an urgent message for your child, please ring the office on 6649 2734 before 2.20 pm and we will make sure they get it.
