Dear parents, guardians and students, Term 3 has begun in a very positive fashion with the students seemingly very relaxed and rested after the school holidays. In this term we are altering the homework routines of each class and the breakdown of this has been shared already. We are also implementing a process to share each child’s learning needs and growth during a learning cycle. To begin with this will be a highlighted numeracy sheet which we hope will evolve into a comprehensive way of involving parents in their child’s learning.

Mercy Regional College’s 2017 Musical Production Mercy Regional College’s 2017 Musical Production Mercy Regional College’s 2017 Musical Production Mercy Regional College’s 2017 Musical Production The three HCSN schools have been invited to the Mercy Regional Col-lege’s 2017 musical production on Wednesday 9th of August at 11:30am at the Camperdown’s Theatre Royal. Our whole school will attend this event and parents are welcome to come with us on the day.

Nurture NestNurture NestNurture NestNurture Nest Our final session of Nurture Nest will be conducted on Tuesday 25th of July in the Mortlake library beginning at 9:15am. The session will focus on Literacy and Numeracy skills in pre-school

and early years students. Kinder VisitKinder VisitKinder VisitKinder Visit Our second visit from the Mortlake kinder will be on Monday 31st of Ju-ly from 8.45am until 10.15am. We look forward to continuing Parent/Teacher InterviewsParent/Teacher InterviewsParent/Teacher InterviewsParent/Teacher Interviews We will be holding our parent/ teacher interviews this afternoon to allow parents to discuss the progress of their child with their classroom. Any family unable to attend on the appointed time are asked to reschedule with the school office. A 10 minute chat will provide a brief overview but a more in-depth discussion will be welcomed by each teacher throughout the school. A timetable for the interviews was sent home with the school reports last term. Any families wishing to know more about our school are welcome to make an appointment at the school office for a tour and information session with the principal.
