RELIEVING PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Well done to all our teachers for their organisation
and efforts in ensuring that everyone has had a
great start to the year.
Our new students have been welcomed and have
been a great addition to the student body with their
enthusiasm and adaptability to their new school.
Over the last week I have ventured into a number
of classrooms and have been extremely pleased to
see how settled and happy our students are. It is
obvious that a well deserved holiday break has
recharged their batteries for another great year of
learning and fun.
Last week our Sports Captains and Vice Captains
were elected. Congratulations to:
Araluen Captains: Mia Wright and Lachlan Hart
Araluen Vice-Captains: Paige Freeman and Kai
Watts
Mirrabooka Captains: Nell Sellars and William
Roworth
Mirrabooka Vice Captains: Chelsie MacDonald
and Bailey Bennett
Attunga Captains: Alannah Holle and William
Harper
Attunga Vice Captains: Chelsea Douglas and

I am sure that these students will represent their
house and our school with pride.

Personal Fitness Trainer
Maria Passlow owns and runs her own fitness business
called
‘Hurts So Good Riverina’
Maria is creating a team to enter the ‘Mud, Sweat and
Beers’ obstacle race which is coming to Wagga on 12th
April 2014
It is a 10km course consisting of 31 obstacles
It requires you to crawl through mud, swim/wade
through dams, climb over walls and manoeuvre your
way through many other types of fun obstacles.
You will need to have a basic level of fitness to enter
the team as you will be required to help others in your
team just as they will have to help you at times.
If you ever want to see what it is like to be able to have
as much fun as what the kids have then this is definite-
ly something you want to do.
Maria will be able to assist you to improve your fitness
level so you are ready for the challenge.
If you are interested in joining her team then please
contact her for further information.
