With the relaxing of Covid-19 gathering numbers, your Club was able to conduct it’s Monthly commitee meetng on 1g th May and catch up on business. From the Secretary The Club will conduct our Annual General Meetng on Monday 15 th June, 2020 at the Club at 5.30 pm. Due notce will appear in the press. Again, due to Covid 19 issues, this will currently be limited to 10 persons max unless things change before that date, so please observe the following. (a) If you have business you would like raised at that Meetng, discuss with your chosen commitee member for atenton or, alternatvely, put your request with the necretary in writng days in advance for atenton. (b) If you would like to nominate for a Commitee positon for the next 12 months, again put your nominaton in writng to the necretary days in advance so atendance numbers can be allocated. From the Treasurer The Club’s accounts have been audited by our Accountant ready for the AGM, and all has been found in order and correct, showing basically that in spite of a larger than normal Annual Inspecton bill for TDK, the Club is in a sound fnancial positon. Another subtle request that Annual subs from 1 st April, are now well overdue if not already paid. From aircraf aintenance and Flying Instructor Peter In order to decrease loads on the nosewheel oleo assembly, something that always gets a working due to the constant landings TDK is subject to, that all Pilots endeavour to keep good back-pressure on the control yoke during all ground work from roll-out to take-of and taxiing. nomething to bear in mind when next nying. On this note, the oleo was recently found denated again so new oil seals will be fted, maybe on Friday 22nd May. The batery in TDK is startng to be unreliable again so a new one held in stock will also be fted at the same tme and a thorough inspecton and testng of the charging system undertaken. From the Club Captain Flying comps will resume on the frst nunday monthly as from nunday th June. He will follow the new format of nying commencing from .30 am for early starters and barbeque brekky from g.30 am. Naturally, pilots who own planes can ny their own at an arranged tme with him. Also note that larger gatherings are stll not on so asks that social distancing is needed, both at the plane and the barby. Proper sanitsing and cleaning gear is in place for TDK. If intending to partcipate, notfy Julian on 044g 0g6 316 by Friday 5 th and if insufcient numbers, cancellaton threatens. With the relaxing of Covid-19 gathering numbers, your Club was able to conduct it’s Monthly commitee meetng on 1gth May and catch up on business.

From the caterers They also need numbers by Friday for ordering supplies, so please oblige. Maureen, Graeme, Lloyd and Peter could be the hosts to give rotaton while serving.

nocially, an impromptu great day evolved on Mother’s Day morning with Paul ntubbs circulatng in CGD and Garry Rootes completng familiarisaton of his machine, both with Peter Fowler, who fnished his day with Graeme in the Auster for some circuits. Whispers are that Graeme may soon get current and ny with us again. At the same tme of this actvity, Julian inducted new Member Mat Whitngton on TDK and then Peter Howard regained currency on TDK with him. Toni took Peter H for a local scenic and circuits, and Mort took TYY for a local jaunt. It was great to see such actvity.

We welcome two new Members, Mat mentoned above who holds a CPL and IFR ratngs and also Patrick Vinson, of nydney, who has completed the new large hangar alongside Andrew Marsh. Please welcome them when you meet.

Finally, a reminder to Pilots to make yourself familiar with the Class 2 basic medical certfcate when renewing your medical. Bill has this procedure well documented on the web-site and the CAnA website does the same.
