About Expert Witness Since 1996 Expert Witness have been providing experts to the legal professions. We have grown to become the most utilisedlegal publication of its kind within the UK. Our service enables litigators to source the appropriate expert for instruction, whateverthe required discipline, quickly and effectively. This is achieved via our website, hardcopy directory, telephone Searchline service,through social media, and in person at solicitor and expert witness related exhibitions and conferences.All our services are free to solicitors, legal chambers, CPS, police, local government and media outlets.
WEBSITE: Our website www.expertwitness.co.uk was first established in 1996. Since its introduction we have worked toensure that it provides the best possible service for solicitors and experts alike. It has been ranked top of Google since 2006; asa result of our Google ranking our website receives on average 9,000 unique visitors per month (source Google analytics).
We have always prided ourselves on our website’s simple to use format. After its redesign in 2017 our new version retains itsusability with improved search speeds and compatibility. Launched in 2012, the Expert Witness Journal is aimed at promoting the views and services of expert witnesses.The quarterly journal runs up to 128 colour pages and features a wide variety of articles across the expert witnessspectrum. It is available as a printed Journal and also online at www.expertwitnessjournal.co.uk
We distribute 10,000 printed versions to the likes of solicitors, barristers, courts of law, insurance companies and theCPS. We also provide around 75,000 hot-link emails to the Expert Witness Journal website each quarter to litigatorsand experts across the UK and Ireland. The journal is registered with The British Library and has a reference numberfor CPD purposes. It is the country’s largest printed Expert Witness journal.
We also publish regional inserts such as our Scottish and London supplements. These feature relevant articles andadvertisers in a specific geographical region.
We distribute the Journal at all major related conferences: The Bond Solon Expert Witness conference; SolicitorsGroup conferences at London, Manchester and Glasgow; Seven Solicitors/Specialist Info Expert conferences in Leeds;Forensics Expo and Trauma Expo at Olympia, The Expert Witness Institute AGM and the British OrthopaedicsAssociations in Birmingham. We also distribute to leading legal practices, ensuring that the Journal is widely read byindustry professionals.
