Papers Presented by Staff:

Mrs. N.R.Patil (Head of Information Technology Department) presented two research

papers. The paper titled „Digital Video Watermarking based on Multi Transform‟ was

presented at the conference held by Padmabhushan Vasantdada Prathisthan‟s Patil

College of Engineering, Mumbai on 8th

and 9th

August 2013.

The second paper titled „Digital Video Watermarking based on Discrete wavelet

transform and Arnold‟s transform‟ was presented at the conference held at Savitha

College of Engineering, Savitha University, Chennai held on 23rd

and 24th

August 2013.

Paper Title :Digital Video Watermarking based on Multi-Transform

Abstract: Robust watermarking works well to resist on common attacks. But fragile

watermarking is sensitive to some attacks. To authenticate the given video is important

task in the internet communication. The proposed scheme used in this paper includes

watermark pre processing, video preprocessing, watermark embedding and watermark

detection described in detail. The algorithm of dual-watermarking embedded and

extracted uses Arnold transform to scramble the images of video and encryption

algorithm to provide more security. Secret information is embedded in individual video

frames using Discrete Wavelet Transform. Finally the PSNR and NC values of proposed

algorithm are compared with Watermarked Video. Result shows that proposed system is

robust secure and more efficient compared to existing methods.

Paper Title: Digital Video Watermarking based on Discrete Wavelet Transform and

Arnold Transform

Abstract: Digital video is one of the popular multimedia data exchanged in the internet.

Due to their perfectly replicable nature many illegal copies of the original video can be

made. The challenge here is to introduce the digital watermark such that the perceived

quality of the electronic content remains unaltered as well as robust to different types of

attacks. In this paper, we use a robust digital image and a video watermarking

algorithm to embed a watermark image in digital video frames using the

Discrete Wavelet Transform technique, Arnold Transform to scramble the images of

video and encryption algorithm to provide more security. Finally the PSNR and NC

values of the proposed algorithm are compared with watermarked video. The result

shows that the proposed system is robust secure and more efficient compared to existing

methods.
