It’s February and so far we have avoided a harsh winter, yah I know if it comes now its my fault. I want to thank everyone who came out for our steak fry. It was a great time with good food and great music that followed. Thanks Jack for all your help along with everyone else Ted, Kathy, And Chris. We will be doing something in March. I will post it later when I know more. Also the Moose Riders did a fantastic job with their soup and sandwich benefit it was a huge success. This month they will be having a dinner on the 27th. They will be serving a swiss steak dinner so come out and support our group. There will be the Cac-
tus band that night after dinner. I also have music on the 20th with Liberty Rain. Don’t for-get to come out the 1st and 3rd Friday nights for karaoke and sing like no one is listening (I do). I also want to thank Bev Blosser for doing a great job with the Tuesday euchre night it’s a fun time even thou I get set once or twice a week. We are starting to gear up for our clubs
100th birthday coming on March 10th. I am trying to have more entertainment and a varie-ty of music so come out and see who’s playing. You might be surprised and like it. You will also be seeing fliers and postings of the up coming Davey Ferrell Memorial Benefit on March 12th all day and night with live music and food and prizes. All the proceeds go to a great cause.
On a sad note we will not be able to put out
the Cookies Christmas donation box because someone this year broke into it and stole some money. It is to bad that someone would take a Christmas away from a needy family for their own gain.

FEBRUARY 2016
The Moose Riders Activity Group adopted a needy family at Christmas Time. We provided the family of 3 with a Christmas meal and presents. We were escorted by some of our officers We raised the money doing several activities. We are just a group of friends that like to get together and raise money to support the community. If anyone is interested in checking out our group come to one of our monthly meetings held the first Sunday of the month 4:00 pm at the lodge. A reminder to our current members dues for 2016 are past due so please see an officer or leave it with one of the bartend-ers.
