MILITARY BIOGRAPHY,BY LIEUTENANT HART,49th Regimekt.

Lieut. Hart has been several years engaged in collecting and arranging matter for a Military Biography, which will contain a full and perfect detail of every officer's career, of every Rank ; and any dispatch, general order, &c. with which the officer's name is associated will be given either in whole or part, as the circumstances of the case shall demand. This work wdl also include the services of Officers who have died or retired from the Army since the year 1830, when the nature of their services can be satisfactorily ascertained, andin such cases only. Lieut. Hart has already completed the services of about eight thousand officers, and he earnestly requests those of his brother officers who have not yet communicated their services to him, to do so at their earliest convenience ; more especially those wliose names begin with the first letters of the alphabet, as the work will be alphabetically arranged, and the first volume will shortly be published. Early communications from Retired Officers, and the Friends of deceased Officers, will

much

oblige.

All communications and details of services to be addressed (post paid), to Lieut. Hart, care of Mr. ay. Bookseller to the Admiralty, 50, Albemarle Street, London.
