I was born and raised here. Jeff is my husband and we have two kids; a son, Sid who is 19 and a daughter, Mallory who is 15. This business is going to be a family thing so customers will see all of our faces at some point. Why did you decide to open the business in this area? I’ve always wanted to own my own busi- ness. I never could find what my niche was. I knew it was hard to find a place around here to tan so I tossed around the idea for a couple of years and finally decided to try it out. What products or services do you pro- vide? We offer women’s jewelry and acces- sories and are going to do some boutique- style clothing lines. As far as the tanning, we have five level 5 beds, one level 3 bed, and three level 1 beds. We are also looking to have a stand-up booth and maybe do some spray tanning. Right now, our special is $59.99 a month for unlimited visits. What are your immediate goals for the business? I just want to keep people happy. I want them to keep coming in and know about the things that they want. I always like to shop locally so I want to do well so we can keep business here. What plans do you have for the future of the business? Expansion. I think we have some room in this building for more expansion but beyond that, we’ll have to wait and see.
