Corporate foundations Some proxys
• US: $5 B giving (2014) – EUROPE: €3-4 B (*)
• Giving by large global companies grew by more than
15% from 2010 to 2013
Corporate Impact Venturing Some proxys
Global Corporate venturing capital investment grew from
$20 B in 2013 to around $30 B in 2015
(*) As no precise data nor research is available, the European number is a guestimate
We are talking serious and growing numbers,
but also the potential to leverage far bigger corporate assets

the many options to engage in social investments”

VPOs have limited understanding of the dynamics within
a company”
EVPA report, 2015
It is still early days,
but we’re moving from ‘anecdotal’ to ‘early adopters’
