your labour, which is quite literal when it comes to

greenhouses. Your own home-grown tomatoes,

cucumbers, chillies and herbs simply taste better than

the ones you buy in a shop, and you can also be cer-

tain that they have not been sprayed with pesticides.

Halls Greenhouses was founded in the UK in 1936,

and the company became the first to mass-produce

greenhouses for private customers. Hence, Halls

is the essence of renowned, age-old English gar-

dening traditions, and we still continue to provide

quality greenhouses at reasonable prices today.

Our wide product range certainly has something

just for you, whether you are a novice or seasoned

gardening enthusiast.

When choosing your greenhouse, it is a good idea

to carefully consider what you want to use the

greenhouse for and – let it be said straight away

– we have never had a customer who wanted a

smaller greenhouse than the one he/she ended

up buying. There must be enough room for the

greenhouse in your garden, but you can never

have enough space inside your greenhouse.

With a Halls Qube you’ll get:

A floating greenhouse: the structural glass design

makes the greenhouse blend with the background.

The glass is installed using tape and capping – no

more fiddly spring wire glazing clips.

Newly developed box section profiles use less

aluminium than older styles but they optimise the

strength of the greenhouse making it durable and

easy to erect, yet having a light and elegant look.

A revolutionary door design using sliders rather

than the traditional wheels means that the door

doesn’t jam and can’t jump off the door track.

There is no door track so the door blends into the

greenhouse when closed and can be secured using

a simple padlock (not supplied).

The low threshold allows easy access and makes

it easier to wheel in a small wheelbarrow or trolley.

Wide gutters allow for 40mm drainage pipes so

even large amounts of rainwater can be channelled

into a waterbutt and used for watering. This makes

sense for both the environment and your wallet.

Downpipes are available to purchase as an optional

extra.

3mm toughened glass offers increased safety and

is less likely to be affected by footballs or stones

thrown up by the lawnmower. If you are unlucky

enough to break a pane it will shatter into small

pieces thereby significantly reducing the chance

of injury. The toughened glass is provided in full

length panels which give the greenhouse a stream-

lined look and contributes to the ethereal feel.

There are many ways to dress your greenhouse;

from shelves to staging to louvres and automatic

vent openers. Many of the accessories are inte-

grated into the greenhouse which enables you to

maximise the space you have and adds an extra

dimension without compromising the aesthetics.

Magnum

A perfect solution for gardeners seeking a spacious

greenhouse. The double sliding door provides open,

unobstructed access, even with a wheelbarrow or

wheelchair, and the generous height of the sides

ensures plenty of space for both you and your plants.

All three sizes of the Magnum series have four win-

dows to provide the ventilation needed. Naturally,

it is possible to buy and install automatic window

openers. Magnum comes with either a silver alu-

minium or powder-coated green frame, and if you

choose to buy 3 mm long-pane single sheets of

toughened glass, you will get a particularly splendid

greenhouse, reminiscent of the orangeries of the past.

Halls Atrium is a very smart, elegant pavilion with

plenty of space for growing vegetables or for use

as an atelier. Your imagination is the only limit to how

this pavilion can be used. The distinctive long-pane

single-sheet glazing makes for a beautiful, elegant

greenhouse, where the field of vision from the

greenhouse is not interrupted by sectioned panes.

The pavilion is furnished with double sliding doors

and three opening side windows for extra ventila-

tion, so you will feel as if you are actually sitting

outside in the garden, but with the added bonus of

being sheltered from the weather and surrounded

by your plants.

Halls Atrium comes with 3mm toughened glass

in the sides and 6 mm polycarbonate glazing on

the roof and is available in powder-coated green.
