From the Director's Desk
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand." Albert Einstein At Welingkar, we are more than convinced about the need for radical change in management education. In an era of uncontrolled growth of population, products, services, scientific and technological information, it is challenging and hence interesting to sense changes around us. Emerging, unarticulated needs and realities need new approaches. Cross disciplinary learning, discovering,
scrutinizing, prototyping, learning to create and destroy the mind's eye needs to be nurtured. Welingkar has choosen to take the untrodden path where we look forward to creating a new environment where "Design Thinking" and "Business Management" are woven together. With our long-standing tradition and history of excellence, we look forward to giving you the support of a recognized brand that signifies contemporary and quality management education. We offer top-quality academic programs and outstanding faculty, who nurture a reputation for scholarly achievement and are dedicated to the teaching-learning-research process. At Welingkar, our Diploma programs promise to help you in the development of your career to its fullest potential at an accelerated pace. We offer you an invaluable access to a network of students, alumni, faculty & business leaders, which can be very useful when you start searching for a job, developing a career path, building business relationships in your current career, or pursing
expertise outside your current field. With this, I welcome you to undergo an intensive, developmental experience that stimulates intellectual and personal growth.
