To improve lives by eliminating the harm from tobacco abuse
through the implementation of effective strategies
that incorporate an anti-oppression model.
The TUPAC Program acknowledges the beneficial and respected use of tobacco in
ceremonial practices within many of the Native American cultures of New Mexico.
The TUPAC Program strives to reduce and prevent the harmful and addictive use of
tobacco products outside of its use in traditional Native American practices.
COMPREHENSIVE CESSATION SERVICES
The New Mexico Department of Health Tobacco
Use Prevention and Control (TUPAC) Program
offers FREE comprehensive nicotine cessation
services to help New Mexicans quit the harmful
and addictive use of tobacco.
▪ Services available 24/7, in both English and Spanish,
on the phone or on the Web.
FREE Options Include:
▪ 24/7 support
▪ Personal Quit Plan
▪ Free Self-help materials
▪ Unlimited sessions with a trained Quit Coach
▪ Free gum, patches or lozenges, mailed directly to the registered participant
▪ Specialized services for youth
▪ Specialized services for pregnant women
FREE Options Include:
▪ 24/7 support
▪ Personal Quit Plan
▪ Chat with a trained Quit Coach
▪ Self-help materials
▪ Community forum
▪ Free gum, patch or lozenges, as appropriate, mailed directly to the registered participant
▪ Internet-based activities that can integrate with phone support
Phone and Web participants may also
