Members of the Halton Physician Recruitment Initiative recently wel- comed Dr. Maya Barnouti- Calotti to Oakville. Barnouti-Calotti has been practising family medicine for the past four years in Windsor, Ontario, and prior to that, in Newfoundland. She has recently reopened the Glenashton Medical Clinic and is accepting new patients by appointment, or walk-in, at 333 Glenashton Dr., Unit #2. Anyone interested can call that office at 905-844- 1700. “As Halton’s population grows, we continue to need more family physi- cians and this is an ongo- ing challenge for our physician recruitment ini- tiative,” said Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr. “We are very pleased to have Dr. Barnouti-Calotti joining our medical community.” Barnouti-Calotti learned of opportunities for physicians in Oakville through Halton’s Physician Recruitment Initiative. The seminar is part of the Living Healthy series offered by Halton Healthcare Services and is presented in partnership with CNIB and The Foundation Fighting Blindness.
