DESIGNACTION COLLECTIVE

ABOUT

Located in Oakland, CA, Design Action is a worker-owned and managed cooperative and union shop. Since they were founded they have grown to be a multi-linguel, diverse 11-person shop.

Their members have come to Design Action as activists and organizers within the social change movement, and with the desire to offer their skills as designers to the progressice movement.

GETTING STARTED

Began in 2002 as an independent design and communications spin-off of Inkworks Press Collective.
