Please note!In order for the new features and compatibility to be available you will need to update diasend® Transmitter, Glooko Transmitter and diasend® Uploader:

How to update diasend® TransmitterPlease restart diasend® Transmitter by disconnecting and then reconnecting the power cable. Note that it might take a few minutes for the new update to download and install. Whilst updating, the green ok light will flash rapidly. When the blue light starts flashing slowly your diasend® Transmitter is updated and ready for use.Are you using a 3G dongle with your diasend® Transmitter? If so, please follow these four simple steps to download and install this system update:

1. Unplug the diasend® Transmitter power cable 2. Unplug the USB hub 3. Reconnect the USB hub 4. Reconnect the diasend® Transmitter power cable

How to update Glooko TransmitterYour Glooko Transmitter will download the latest software update automatically and it will prompt you to re-start when the new update is available.

How to update diasend® UploaderWhen you open the diasend® Uploader software you will be asked to update to the latest version. Please click: “Download and install update”. Once the installation is finished, please restart your PC or Mac.

The Patient overview - a new feature in diasend®The Patient overview has been designed to improve the ability for you to quickly identify patients that are in greatest need of support. Within the Patient overview, we facilitate a way for you to sort your patients, allowing you to view them in a way that best fits your workflow.

The Patient overview includes all patients who have CGM data from within the last 90, 14 or 7 days.

When opening the tab, the Patient overview will arrange the patients in the order of their Time in range, displaying thte data from lowest to highest value. It is the patients’s data from the last 14 consecutive days that are used for this calculation.

Besides Time in range, it is also possible to sort the patients based on percentage of severe low (below 3.0 mmol/L or 54 mg/dL).

By selecting the symbol in the top right corner of the table, you will find infor-mation about which target range and what thresholds are applied for the calcula-tions (see the image below).

CGM duration and the date of the latest CGM reading are also included in the view, to help you to get an understanding of how much CGM data was available for the calculations, as well as how recent the available data is.

The calculations are made on the following basis:• Only CGM data is included.• The time period for the calculations is always the latest 14 consecutive days,

based on the CGM readings available.• The target range is 3.9 mmol/L - 10 mmol/L or respectively 70 mg/dL - 180 mg/dL.• The threshold for severe low is set to below 3.0 mmol/L or respectively 54mg/dL.

This pilot feature is offered at no charge through the end of 2020. During this period we would love to hear your feedback. Please contact the diasend® support team with your feedback on the user experience support.diasend.com.

Tandem t:slim X2 Control-IQ data: Now visible in diasend®

We are really excited to announce that Control-IQ data now is visible in diasend® for users with a Tandem t:slim X2 with the Control-IQ technology. Control-IQ™ advanced hybrid closed-loop technology automatically adjusts insulin levels based on Dexcom G6 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) readings.

Make sure to update diasend® Transmitter or Glooko Transmitter in order to be able to view Control-IQ.

Data-sharing consents for In Clinic Patient Accounts

Sharing data makes it possible for our part-ners to improve their products and services, to troubleshoot or make an impact in health research projects. Glooko enables users of diasend® to securely share their data with our partners and manufacturers. When devices with certain serial numbers are connected to diasend®, the system will try to send an e-mail to the patient with request for consent. If there is no e-mail address stored for the patient, a popup will be shown asking for the patient’s e-mail.

Patients always have the right to withdraw consent or decline consents. Glooko’s ser-vices remain accessible regardless whether you share your data or not. To learn more, Glooko Privacy Notice.
